Point taken for Marty, Dagda, Asvel (wasn't aware of his age), Homer (oh dayum, I should pay attention to official art more than TCG art >_< ) and Sleuf. Marty will be moved down the "God Tier" (But still on it) and replaced with Othlin, Dagda will be moved down to be replaced by Glade, Homer will replace Ronan, Sleuf will replace Shanam and Asvel will be moved up to be replaced with Cyas
Reasons: Othlin: Personal opinion, but it's attractive how he pulls off the "I don't care about anyone" when it's obvious he displays a constant worry for Tania who is in the middle of a battlefield. Also, his crude personality and rebellious clothing style (eg: muscle shirt, long hair, smirk, etc) and loyalty (what Homer more than lacks) towards Tania forms into what I believe makes a perfect man (loyal, but not tame at all, and fear of nothing).
Marty: Personally for me, the "all brawn, no brain" is one of the most attractive things in a guy (although Othlin beats him in terms of physical appearance official art), and Marty is totally that person in FE5! Although they did botch up on his facial expression in his official artwork I admit, but at least his
TCG Artwork more than makes up for it.
Dagda: Mainly was going for the "tough guy" personality with the attractive smile never stopping to realize that I was being a bit biased in regards that he was easier to recruit (ie: none) in comparison to Xavier who made me almost stop playing FE5 altogether, but since that doesn't matter in this form of debate, he really has no reason to be that high in the tier.
Glade: It may be just me, but I think he is another form of a perfect mix of what makes a man: loyalty to his wife, modest hair, not so much a pile of muscle, but not "generic soldier" muscular and style points (
you half ride that horse, Glade! cool ) What makes him lower than Othlin is he is rather tame and for that, he loses out for a rather generic personality.
Homer: Yes, his official artwork is rather attractive, but call me crazy, but doesn't he look reminiscent to a certain seventeen year old Pegasus Rider from FE3 named Est who wasn't very special looking to begin with (although stat-wise, yum)? I mean seriously, take a good long look at her and look at Homer's face, they have everything in common!
Sety VS Sleuf: True, they look alike, but I was going for the personality I guess. Whilst Sleuf was a basically generic Priest filling the roll of a watered down Claude, Sety is the hero of the wind, leader of the Magi squad, master Sage, you get the point. Also, his green hair really sets him apart from a normal generic blond.
As for Shanam: Why such the major drop? Originally, at 5AM last night, I was saying to myself "eastern warriors with long hair, oh God yes".. now at 3AM, I'm saying to myself, I didn't like Samto, either go Navarre, or don't go anywhere! : D My logic now is Shanam totally applies to Samto.
And totally, I semi-made this thread as a rage-response to Marty being apparently "ugly".. My taste in men is so weird so society likes to tell me. ._.
EDIT: Personal choice, but traded places with Galzus and Homer, Reason:
After a good close look at Galzus, it struck me that he looks like a washed out Las Vegas woman who lost her way in the desert and the sand got to her making her look rather.. butch. >_> And a close look at Homer despite looking like Est, really has a lot to say about him, even if he only "has one body" (if anyone is a dork like me and remembers his recruitment scene).
