Plot: Narcissa Malfoy has decided it's time for her son to marry. She chooses as his bride the daughter of Maria Black. Neither of the kids are alright with this idea at all, especially since, before this came around, Maria's daughter had already promised herself to someone else. Now, Draco is forced to share the woman who is supposed to be his wife and is finding himself in a jealous rage.

ஜ Ίsabelle ζenna Ƀlack ஜ Don't tell me I can't, because then I'll only prove you wrong. ╔══════.♥.═══════════════════════════════╗Lenna Black sat at the breakfast table in the Great Hall resting against her long time friend, and lover of almost three years, Lucien Caldera. Her back leaned against his chest and his arms were snaked around her waist, chin resting on her shoulder. Gentle kisses were pressed against her neck and shoulder occasionally and often times he would glance up to make conversation with their friends. It was only the second week of her seventh year at Hogwarts but already she had been assigned an essay for Potions that was due that day. She was scribbling down the rest of it on the parchment in her lap when a familiar cry caught her attention and made her look up. Her eyes set sight on the brown owl she knew belonged to her mother, Maria Black.
Lenna was from two long lines of pure blood families. Her father and mother had married and had her a year later, though they had -- not soon after -- realized they were not meant for each other. They split when she was barely three and after that every summer for two weeks she visited her mother. Other than that her time was spent at the Burrow with the Weasley family. She had known the family since she was able to speak and that closeness had resulted in her growing up being labeled a blood traitor. Not that she minded much. If she had grown up with her mother instead she never would have spoken to anyone in Gryffindor and probably would have been in Slytherin house. Because of being raised by her father she had been able to meet Lucian.
Her gaze fell to the ring finger of her left hand where her engagement band rested. Lucian had proposed over summer vacation with the very ring his father had given his mother. With tears in her eyes she had accepted and everyone had celebrated, claiming how they had all seen this coming. The plan now was for them to finish school and spend a few months out in the world before finally getting married. Everyone had been so ecstatic when they found out. Well, everyone except Maria. Her mother would never approve of the choice she had made and Lenna had come to accept that. The only thing that actually upset her was that her father hadn’t lived to see it happen. He had died two years before, just as her relationship with Lucian had begun to grow serious.
Needless to say, Maria Black held barely any interest in her teenage daughter and that was why the sight of her owl had shocked and scared Lenna. It could mean nothing good that she was writing. After the owl landed the seventeen year old girl hesitantly untied the letter from its leg and was busy opening it as it flew away. Her hands were shaking as she unfolded it and skimmed the contents over.
Isabelle,
I am writing to inform you that I have been conversing with Narcissa Malfoy as of late. She has led me to understand that her son Draco is in need of a bride. His mother has decided that since he cannot choose a woman and settle down, she will find a bride for him. That was when I mentioned you. Narcissa only wishes for a pure blooded daughter-in-law and although your father’s name has been soiled by his attachment with those blood traitors I was able to spare yours. Narcissa has agreed to make you Draco’s wife, although you will finish school before the two of you are wed. I expect full well for you to behave with him. He is your fiance now and you will treat him as such. So, say goodbye to the plans you had made. This is non-negotiable so don’t even try.
Maria Black
Lenna froze as she read, and then re-read, the letter. She had never imagined herself stuck in a position like this. She felt the tears building as Lucian's arms tightened around her. He had read the letter too, and she knew that grip. It was a possessive hold. He wasn’t going to let her go without a fight, especially not to Draco Malfoy. Lenna’s eyes moved to the Slytherin table and took in her supposed fiance. Did he know yet? Was he aware of what their mother’s had done? Maybe there would be a way out, maybe they could avoid this. But she really doubted it. She felt completely taken over by panic and utter disbelief. She could hear Lucian talking but couldn’t make out the words, couldn’t focus on anything. All she could do was stare at Draco in complete shock and let a few tears slide down her cheek.
