When the Ancient Senshi were locked away around 8,000 bc, some Ancient Senshi were inbetween incarnations. These senshi we now refer to as the "lost ones".
Some of these senshi are still lost to us, some however have cropped up, in one form or another. Rediscovered lost ones have the same names, fukus and powers as their ancient incarnations.
Sailor Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Neptune, Pluto, Uranus and Saturn were once the names of ancient senshi. But those senshi stopped reincarnating after 8000bc. Senshi of the same name latter cropped up, but they have few or none of the physical and personality characteristics of their ancient namesakes.
In these new incarnations of the ancient senshi are so drastically different in physical appearance and personality from their ancient name sakes, that many question if it's really the same senshi. Those that knew a lost one tend to cling to the idea that they are the same, sometimes to the frustration of new senshi.

Rules for becoming a "Lost One"
1. You must be native to this Solar System.
2. You must have no incarnations for your current form before 8000 BC.
3. You must not be a Chibi.
4. You must use the Standard Sol Fuku for your first Fuku (although fukus can deviate from standard as you gain more power)
5. Your name must fit into the naming scheme for Ancient Senshi. (Mythogical gods/goddesses/creatures)
6. You must create/adopt the available Ancient Senshi of the the same name and they must have all the attributes of an ancient Senshi.
7. Your Ancient Senshi counter part must have been between incarnations, or killed outright when the ancient senshi went into stasis around 8000 bc. After this point they don't reincarnate in that form again. The name is not seen again untill your new charactor is awakened.
