It's been almost two years since I last saw my boyfriend, and over a month since I got a letter from him.

Back in March '04 he got in a fight with his best friend, and said friend threatened to kill him. Crap happened and Behn was sent to the hospital after knocking himself out. He stayed there for a while untill he was sent to a really corrupt behavioral health facility, Foundations Behavioral Health. He stayed there for three months, but then they shipped him down to a place in Florida, where he is currently.

Now, this kid was diagnosed with ADD and ODD at the age of six and put on pills. He has also since been diagnosed with Bipolar (a disorder I do not beleive can be diagnosed in teens, because of the whole "hormones" and "mood swings" thing), and Aspergers.

He has an older brother who is very violent and has a serious drug problem. Since his mother is a lesbian, and has a girlfriend, his brother is his only role model, and not a very good one at that. His mother's girlfriend, Angela, broke a necklace I gave him. How did she break it? She was choking him.

You've got to be dumber than a bag of barf to think this kid ISN'T going to get some violent tendancies. It's what he's grown up with.

Behn is a nice kid, he isn't defient with me (and of course he's defient with adults who boss him around and treat him like he's five). He ******** ASKS ME before he puts his hand up my shirt when we make out (obviously, he couldn't ever be a rapist). When some stoned kid threatened Behn when we were at the mall, Behn didn't lay a finger on this guy, even though he kept egging Behn on. Afterwards, Behn said he'd beat the crap out of the kid if he touched me, Julia, or Katie.

This Culf Coast Treatment Center he is in is doing everything wrong. They treat him like a kid and even force him to write a really long sentence one-hundred times every time he curses. They are basically asking for him to get mad and start punching people.

I've tried emailing his mom, but she rarely ever replies, even when all I'm asking for is for her to tell me how Behn is doing. She always seems to only reply after something bad happened to him. I have lost all trust in her.

She put her kid on pills when he was six, she beleives all this "diagnosis" crap, she allowed her twenty-something-year-old son to have drugs in the house, just because "he's an adult" even though it puts her younger son at risk, she stays with a woman who chokes her kid enough to break his necklace, and she seems to want to have nothing to do with me, even though all I ask is that she please tell me how her kid is doing.

One more year and he'll be old enough to get away from her, and I'll make sure he IS able to leave when he's old enough, because that woman does not even deserve to have any kids at all (and to think, she teaches elementary school students...).

We need to emancipate kids younger. scream
