Gaianame: Angel in my Dreams
Name: Tsumi Minamoto
Age: 12 years old
Gender: Female
Village: Konohagakure
Rank: Genin
Chakra Element: Water Chakra
Weapons: Her father’s daggers, Jigoku (Hell) and Gokuraku (Paradise), shuriken, and kunai
Jutsus: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Justu), Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Jutsu), Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Switching Jutsu), and Mizu no Tanken (Water Dagger)
Special Move: Mizu no Tanken (Water Dagger): A special water style jutsu created by Koji Minamoto, Tsumi Minamoto’s father. You can only use Mizu no Tanken if you have the daggers, Jigoku (Hell) and Gokuraku (Paradise) in your hands (They have the unique seal on them to create and help the user sustain the jutsu). The jutsu takes a lot of energy and chakra to use and the aftershock makes the user weak and the water cuts the user’s arms during use. The jutsu starts with water engulfing the user’s arms and gets into the shape in daggers as it spins around the user’s limbs. Tsumi Minamoto is the only living being in the world to know this technique, but she is not a master at it yet.

TsumiBio: Tsumi was born to Leaf Ninjas, Koji and Mei Minamoto. Both of her parents were gentle, kind water-using ninja who were both born in Konohagakure. Tsumi’s father taught Tsumi how to use water jutsus at an early age of seven to hopefully advance her studies in the academy when she was to attend in a few years. Tsumi’s mother taught her how to use ninja gear like shuriken and kunais at six years of age. When Tsumi entered the academy to study being a ninja more, her father began to teach her his jutsu that he created. It was hard for Tsumi since it was a very powerful jutsu and she was such a young ninja. To this day, Tsumi has not mastered her father’s jutsu.
When her parents went off on ninja missions, she would stay with her aunt, Tomo Minamoto, who taught her how to cook and tend a garden. Though staying with her aunt was fun, she missed her parents dearly and was worried sick every night, they wouldn’t come home. Tomo had to calm Tsumi down enough for the young ninja to sleep, but even then Tsumi would have nightmares of her parents being killed on their mission. Tomo tried to reassure her niece everything was alright, but Tsumi wouldn’t believe her aunt.
When Tsumi accepted into the academy, her parents gave her a present as a congratulations for all her hard work. They gave her a cat named Rai. Rai was not a ninja cat, but Tsumi didn’t care, she adored Rai anyways. Tsumi and Rai soon became close friend, being able to sense each other’s strongest emotions from their bond of friendship. Tsumi wouldn’t ever leave Rai behind even when she was told to by her mother and father.
In the academy, Tsumi was very silent to others and only spoke when spoken to, seeing as she never really went outside to interact with the other child in earlier years, but instead chose to stay home and either, before her home training began, watch her parents train or, when her training had begun, train as much as she could through out the day. The children never really bothered with Tsumi in the academy because of this. They only interacted with her when it was instructed by their sensei. Even then, Tsumi didn’t enjoy interacting with her peers, she preferred working alone, but was scolded for it, seeing as she was to work with a team once she graduated the academy. Her anti-social attitude is what prevented Tsumi from graduating a year early, seeing as she was advanced in her studies far more than the other children.
A year before Tsumi was to graduate the academy, her parents were murdered on a ninja mission in Iwagakure by a rouge ninja. No one knows who did it, but Tsumi made a vow that if she ever encountered her parents’ murderer, she’d kill them, but this isn’t her main goal. It’s only if she sees her parents’ murderer in person. Her main goal is really to become a strong ninja and make her parents proud in the afterlife. Hopefully, she can do that without dying before she’s a Chunin.
Currently, Tsumi lives with her Aunt Tomo and has graduated the academy with flying colors. She is still traumatized by her parents’ death and has nightmares about it. The figure in her dreams continues to remain the same, but she cannot identify who it is in her dream that keeps killing her parents. It scares her to death every time she thinks about the dream and/or the figure.
