prelude and dance is a utterly cool piece blaugh biggrin

in symphonic band the most funnest piece is abracadabra blaugh

any Bass Clarinet solos. One of my fav songs is like "march to the chathedral" or somthing like that. It has a clarinet section soli an dit goes really high for the bass clarinet. like past the high C. up to aD in the altissimo octave. it is nuts.

WE are playing the requium to commemorate the new theatre. the one written by mozart. I have the bassons part in Dies Irae and it is hard and fast

hahaha Just had to Point out that ^ that part made me chuckle.

Anyhoo, pulling mind out of the gutter.

We're playing a pops concert so we have all kinds of great movie music.

Lion King
The Godfather
I love Hollywood. It has this fun part us bass clarinets get.
We also have a pretty decent part in Hymn to the Fallen.

Last year we played Pirates of the Caribbean. *sigh* so good.
And earlier this year we played New Dawn which had a pretty funny part between the one bari sax and the two bass clarinets. HAHAHA It was so easy but we messed it up almost everytime cause we were never together.
