About how long will you be gone?: Unknown ( January 29 - ??? )
Reasons for hiatus: My snake, only a year old, is currently suffering from an unspecified neurological disorder; in snakes, it cannot be cured or reversed, and I have to choose between having him euthanized or taking care of him until he dies on his own. Facing this and trying to care for him despite his thrashing, spasming, and other movements that break my heart every time I try to handle him has led to me not really being in the mood for roleplaying and has left me unable to communicate my thoughts in a way that people find 'appropriate'. As you could probably assume, I'm extremely depressed by this turn of events, and predisposed mental conditions have led to this being progressed to a much stronger condition than it is in a normal situation.
I am leaving because I believe that I am not in an emotional state to interact properly when having a disagreement and I'm certainly not in any proper head space to be able to roleplay any of my kids properly.
I'm sorry.

Reasons for hiatus: Internal arguments within the staff. Stress, school, homelife. Lack of muse? Personal reasons, really. Avoiding conflict.

I want to come back, but I'm afraid to, and now isn't really the time for me to try. Not when I'm trying to take care of other things. I'll do my best to come back when I've gotten myself settled back into a regular pattern.
