"Y...yeah, thanks." As soon as Shun looked away Nyx sneered, her teeth obviously a lot sharper and a bit more pointy all around. Not that Shun would notice because by the time he looked back Nyx had focused on her menu again, wishing more than ever the guy would just roll over and die.

Taking the large order to the kitchen, Mitsu made her way to the floor again, this time over to Nyx's table. "Did you still need a couple of minutes?"

Nyx looked at the menu for a moment before looking up at the white-haired girl glancing at the name tag. Mitsu? "Yeah, I'm not really sure what I want yet. But if you've got a second maybe I can ask you a couple of questions. You go to this school over here right?"

"Nao Academy? Yeah, I go there," Mitsu nodded her smile never wavering.

"Oh good, I'm new maybe you can tell me about it at some point. I won't actually be at school for a couple of days now." Had the fudge the paperwork after all for this last minute plan.

Mitsu smiled brightly at the girl, "Sure. I'll try to do my best. My name is Mitsu by the way. Mitsu Lupus."

"Nyx Black," Nyx offered up. What harm was there in using her real name? She was basically erased from existence as it was.

"Order up!" Morgan called from the kitchen.

On her toes Mitsu smiled down at Nyx enthusiastically. "I'll give you a few more moments to look over the menu." Heading over to the counter Mitsu grabbed the order Morgan had placed in the window and brought it over to Shun. Setting down the rather large burger and even bigger bowl of soup she smiled a little warily. "I guess I should have warned you about the portions.....I hope you're hungry."

Smiling Mitsu stepped up behind Shun to bring an arm over his shoulders and across his front to hug him shortly. "Enjoy your food I'll check on you in a bit." Pulling away she stepped over to Nyx's table. "Do you know what you want to order? I can give you a few more minutes if you need it."

"Nah, I think I'll get a burger, they look pretty good," She glanced over at Shun for a moment before focusing back on Mitsu. "So is that guy your boyfriend?" She tried to grin but the gesture was a little awkward.

"Oh, umm," Mitsu looked back at Shun with a smile. "He's a really good friend. One of my best friends." He had certainly stuck by her through the worst of everything. "I'll go and put in your order and be back with it as soon as I can." With a smile Mitsu was off to disappear into the kitchen again.

"At least she has a better disposition," Nyx looked off to the side sipping her drink idly. It didn't look like she was talking to anyone in particular but it was obvious the comment was aimed at Shun. He was the only other person she had talked to thus far.

"Yeah, that's more than apparent," Nyx said just as simply in return. "You seem like you have the personality of a camel. Generally good with your keeper but ready to spit in the face of anyone you don't know." Was she implying Mitsu was his keeper? Maybe. It also seemed like her favorable attitude had gone flying out the window, being nice just wasn't her forte.

When Mitsu reappeared from the kitchen she had a large tray of food, following behind her was Morgan, dressed as brightly as ever, with a tray of food as well. Seemed the table of men had ordered quite a bit but they hadn't expected the girl to have help bringing it all out. Under Morgan's careful gaze they were less inclined to grin like fools or stare at the wolf girl in an inappropriate way.

One did brave a pass to touch Mitsu's rear as she turned to leave but Morgan was quick to swat his hand away giving him a warning look before following the girl back to the kitchen. So Morgan wasn't completely ignorant of the situation, at least not now anyway. Either Mitsu had told him or he had been watching from the kitchen.

"That's me, full of sweet words and sunshine," Nyx's own sarcastic tone came to the surface to match Shun's, her cool blue eyes narrowing down to intensity. At least until a plate of food was set in front of her.

"Here you go," Mitsu smiled as she quickly made sure there was plenty of ketchup and mustard on the table. "Do you need anything else?"

That sweet smile made Nyx's expression twitch a bit before it lightened a little. "No, I'm fine." She said softly turning back to her food. Jesus, this burger was huge.

Nodding she smiled as she walked up to Shun to check on him. "Doing okay?" It seemed Nyx and Shun had been talking though Mitsu wasn't sure what about. "Are you two getting to know each other?" She smiled brightly hoping they were getting along.

"Aww, she seems nice," Mitsu smiled. "You should be nice as well. She's new. Being new to school isn't easy." Mitsu had been new herself and the first couple of weeks had been a little tough though Desmond had been quick to make friends with her. Riyo had been a little tougher to get close to and getting to be friends with Shun had almost been by chance alone. "Give her a chance, maybe we can all be friends." Smiling warmly at the assassin Mitsu trotted off to tend to her other tables to refill drinks and make sure no one else needed anything.

Lifting up her burger, Nyx licked her lips rather eagerly before she took her first bite, mouth obviously full of sharp pointed teeth. She chewed only slightly before swallowing, ears tuning into Shun and Mitsu's conversation. It amazed her that the girl would vouch for her...she barely knew anything about her outside of her name. Taking another large bite of her burger she glanced up as the wolf girl moved away before her eyes came to settle on Shun once again. Being friends with him....would be impossible.....but she could pretend she supposed. It would be easier to deal with him the closer she got.

"Well, that was more than I expected," Whether Nyx meant what Mitsu had said or Shun's reaction she didn't make clear as she took another bite of her burger. It was really good and she didn't appear to be the cleanest eater as the juices from the burger ran from her mouth down her chin. Wiping at her face with the back of her hand, Nyx looked up at Shun again. If she was going to continue to be 'friendly' what would normal people talk about? "So tell me, what's school like, Sunshine." She looked right at Shun with a bit of a smirk, those pointy teeth barely visible. Might as well get an idea of the place before she went, though she doubted Shun would give her much information. She would be surprised if he gave her anything more than a 'piss off.'

"You're just a goldmine of information aren't you?" With a shrug Nyx finished off her burger, shoving the remainder in her mouth. While she liked food she knew how to eat in a hurry. There was no telling if the rat would show up to tell his friend someone had tried to kill him. If that happened he may or may not be able to distinguish her scent. It was hard to say since her scent was already a mix of various things. "Never mind, I'll figure it out on my own."

Finishing off her drink Nyx looked down at her empty plate before looking up to see that Mitsu was still busy with other customers. She really wanted to leave and a part of her was just screaming to leave without paying the bill. Not like she hadn't done that before. At the same time....that burger had been really good. If she didn't pay she wouldn't be very likely to come back. It was quite the conundrum if she ever wanted to eat here again. With a sigh she reached for her wallet and pulled out a twenty and threw it on the table. It was twice what her meal was worth so it seemed Mitsu was going to get a decent tip out of it. "See you at school, Smiles." She tapped Shun's table as she left glancing back at the wolf girl before she walked out the door. This was going to be interesting.
