This Poem is about a one of the most lucid dreams that i had recently that took place in my room. I had the option of choosing 1 of 2 view points. I chose the one in which the twist wouldn't be revealed till the end.
I Kicked the door open
The Wood splintered has my boot hit it
There, chained against the wall was a man unable to defend
Himself he wore a mask and seemed fit
For my
Practices
I cackled a malicious laugh
I dug out a scalpel
And put half
Into a burning pyre
He could tell
I was getting anxious
I drew it out
My face close to his
He began to shout
And I said "Tell me this
Can You Hear Your Heart Beat?"
He Nodded with a fear in his eye
The Burning scalpel emitted a unique heat
As it touched his thigh
He could tell he was gunna die
I had a terrible pain
I cringed
What could he have done?
Nothing was the answer
so I continued to singe
And Burn
His fragile skin
He Cried out
The best he could
Deep down I had a certain doubt
That should he die
I would also
I held out a rusty mug
As his blood spilled
I made him glug
It all once it filled
Each time I had the same
Taste
Slowly as i cut him more
Watching his blood pour
Out from every place
I looked into his masked face
"Can You Heart Your Heart Beat?'
He shook his head
I Laughed
Soon he was gunna be dead
I Said
"Can You Hear Mine"
He Didn't move
I yelled
"Answer me or you will dine on your own beating heart!"
He pointed to his mask
I took it off
He questioned
"I Hear mine but do you hear yours?"
I felt my wrist
not a pulse
he spat
"Look into my eyes and you'll see the twist"
My eyes Grew Wide
Inside and outside
We we're the same
but there were no marks on him
They were all on me
I couldn't believe what my eyes could see
He laughed
"Believe it. You and me
Are The very same Person
And What You Have done to me
Have Done To Yourself
I Can Hear My Heart Beat
But Can You Hear Yours?"
Dark Darlings
This just kinda exists
