My Nintendo DS Lite has been acting rather wonky such as shutting off without me touching the power switch when the battery isn't low or saying that the DS cartridge hasn't been inserted when it has been. I don't have the intention of getting a Nintendo 3DS( so don't recommend it) My question is should I get a new one or just keep the one I got? What's your opinion?

If you're not going to upgrade to a DSI then I would suggest to try and get the DSLite fixed. You should check out the DSI they're pretty cool ( that's if you haven't already). There are places like Game Stop if you might want to trade it in for another one.
