History: Born and raised on Radiant Garden, he lived a quiet life and inherited his fathers business when he died unexpectedly one day. After an investigation, it was proved to be the work of the Heartless, the first ones who had shown up on the world. After many years of study and schooling, Talus inherited the lab in which his father had been working when he died. That had been the only stipulation in the Will.
Deciding to continue his fathers work, Talus dove into the creation of Heartless and examining how the heart worked. One day while exploring, he found a door with a large keyhole. It looked ominous but he approached it anyway. The door burst open and the darkness consumed him. He later awoke in the world of darkness, his form had changed but only slightly physically. He found he could call gateways into the darkness and use them to transport himself. Once he found his way back to the world of light, he observed how much it had changed and thus he would as well. From that day forward, Talus had died and Xien had been born.
