Personally, I was cut off from Gaiaonline for a few years because of my over-controlling mom who happens to be a computer genius. She was just trying to protect me and take away "dangerous influences" and give me a chance to heal, but I am pissed that in the time I was gone this place dried up so much.
I didn't get back into posting, even now that I have access to the guild, because I've been channeling my energies into work, dance, social life, etc, but I need a quiet place in my life, if you will.
As for keeping the guild alive, all it really takes is some community building. Review a couple poems when you log on, post in the treads, message some people, and write a poem or two on the boards. When you show people that you care about them and their contributions are valued, you'll be amazed how involved they will get. That's how *I* became crew here.
