Introuductory
~In the dark world of time and space, there are many different worlds, of existence. This realm in particular was of an alternate NetherRealm. One in which was in quite chaos, and due to the time distortion, there were a few houses along the many roads that would lead towards the structures. Many of demons inhabit the area. Many of them were told a false belief in which if they were to take the soul of someone of the living, they would be able to leave the land of the dead. However, they had no means of getting to the land of the living. However, a being would put an end to that problem. This being had stolen an artifact of great magic potiential, and had used this realm to keep himself hidden....
This Artifact, was of the "Dimensional Rift" Class. Hearing of the man, many of the Netherworld Demons hunted down this being, until they had managed to find him. Though, he had been marked with the "Shen" symbol, they demanded the being to use the artifact to allow them to be free. The entity, would do as they commanded , and many portals or rifts in times and space would be opened. Finally the demons would be free to run amok, however, they could not stay out of the netherealm for too long. They could only stay out for a day's time. Any longer then this, and they would be eradicated due to their properties, they conflicted with existence's boundaries.
Despite this the demons would still cause the destruction at hand. The only way it seemed to get rid of the demons, would be to enter the netherworld, itself, and fight your way through the demons, and other spiritual inhabitants that lurked nearbye. Get through the demons, and find the being who was in the great castle North of the houses.
