Note: this is not my story, I heard it from a comedian. It just seems like it should be put here.
In South Carolina, there are many teams of three highway patrolmen. On group had two men in the squad car, and another in a helicopter clocking speeds. One day, a red sports car drove by and was clocked at 90 mph. The patrolmen pulled him over and the deputy in charge went and talked to the driver.
The driver was a nondescript man, with graying hair, jeans, and a white athletic t-shirt. The deputy asked, "Did you know you was going 90 mph?"
"Well sir, I don't beleive that," replied the driver.
The driver had no idea of the helicopter clocking his speed overhead, so when the deputy pointed up and said, "The man up there said you did," The driver got out of the car, took off his hat and said, "Sir, I have been a pastor for 20 years, and if he said I done it, I done it!"
Hope you appreciated this story.
