Sunny days were sleepy days for Nagendra, however, as of today, with his 'mother' behind him, dragging him down to the store, to get groceries. The red-haired kid groaned and mumbled something about dumbass parents. They got so irritating, and he eventually just followed her on the way to pick up fish for dinner. He hated fish. They were disgusting! Kellie didn't seem to give two shits. Since it was 'good for him.' Eventually, he muttered softly, "Kit….I don't want fish….I want steak." The older woman sighed, glancing over at him, "Kid, I can't afford Steak….Like, right now. I just paid the bills on the house and the garage, not to mention another payment on your bed." When he stuck his tongue out at her, she sighed heavily, rolling her eyes.
Jeebus. Kids today, what was with them? Leading him down the rows of food, she watched as he dragged cereal, fruit, and some kind of...weird drink into his arms. Sighing, she decided she'd be nice enough to let him get it. He would whine otherwise, and she REALLY didn't need a kid making a scene....not here. Not now. If only things weren't so damn COMPLICATED....

Yue had accompanied Anima to the store, partly to keep an eye on her haha-ue, and partly just to get out of the apartment. Green eyes darted around, taking in everything, and she kept a tight hold on Anima's white hand. She didn't want to loose the other! And this store seemed like such an easy place to get lost in!
The two made a striking pair, visually. Anima was tall and willowy, dressed in her usual pastel-colored clothing, making the albino look even more...ethereal. And Yue was small and pale as well, though her vibrant yellow hair, yellow green eyes, and slightly shimmery, yellow-tinted skin, lent her far more color than her guardian. While Anima found the fruits she was looking for, Yue's eyes were caught by the sight of someone who HAD to be like her and her 'twin'.
Yue's hand slipped from Anima's and the Scent made her way towards the serpentine boy, a bright smile on her face. Once she was close enough, she stopped, smile never fading. "Hello!" Though definitely excited, her voice wasn't loud.

Blinking slightly, 'Gen looked at the girl who'd walked up to him and Kellie. Nostrils flaring slightly, the boy grinned. She was his kind! And kinda cute too… "Hey you! I'm Nagendra. Who're you?" And he decided to be an a**, leaning over the girl's hand, and kissing it, acting like a proper gentleman. Kellie, of course, hadn't noticed till she turned and came face to face with another Scent. Her scarred eye parted a little bit, so she could see the other a little bit more clearly. "Well, look at that, You've got another kid around you." Turning back to shopping, she decided she'd let the kid socialize a bit.
Said Scent smiled, "That's Kellie. She's my Guardian. " That was said rather bitterly, as the boy shot a look at the woman over his shoulder. Moving to stand besides the other, he offered her his arm, "So….D'you wanna walk around, just kinda, let them do their own thing?"
Why not flirt a little? And ditch his guardian in the process! It sure as hell made nicking small things from stores like this a HELL of a lot easier. Two kids were better than a kid and a do-gooder adult. They got so irritating!

Yue giggled at his behavior, but went along with it. "I'm Yue Cross." She looked to his guardian, still smiling, then back to Nagendra. "It's very nice to meet you, Nagendra." She pointed to Anima coming over to them, the albino looking curious. "This is my haha-ue, Anima." Anima arrived by them, and gave Nagendra a calm smile, then looked to Yue.
"I don't mind if you want to." Yue gave her guardian a thankful look, and happily took the offered arm. A new friend!
"I would like to walk around. There's nothing complicated enough on the list to confuse haha-ue"

Kellie turned around, glancing at Yue, tipping her head. Interesting looking person, this guardian. As Gen toted Yue off, she smiled kindly at the other, "Looks like you've got an easier time on your hands than I do. That little brat's a right handful sometimes. He loves to pick things up and just 'forget' to put them back." Sighing softly, she toyed with a bit of her black hair, grease stains tainting her cheeks and arms, with her neck also a bit covered. Indigo eyes were tired, or…well, the one that wasn't completely nigh-on closed thanks to scarring. Offering her right hand (as she was kind of awkward about offering ANYONE the hand with the scars), she smiled, "I'm Kellie Nieve.
Nagendra, on the other hand, was enthralled by the many things around them. Putting his hand on the hand of Yue's that had gone on his arm, he grinned, "So, Your name's Yue huh? It's really pretty. You're pretty too!" He complimented, curious about her. He'd not really gotten to meet too many Scents his own age, and though Rhiloss was close, he wasn't that close. His tail was moving languidly, as he considered trying that 'flirting' thing he'd figured out worked so well.

Anima watched the serpant-child take Yue off, then turned to Kellie. "He seems like a nice boy. Yue likes him." Then again, Anima was also a very trusting soul, generally. Though...forgetting to put things back was rather bad. "He needs to be careful than. People think you're stealing if you forget to put things back. I did that a couple of times...It's why my brother sends me with a list now. If it's not on the list, I don't touch it." The perfect way to solve her memory problem while at the store! At least, she thought so.
Yue giggled at Gen. "Thank you! You're handsome yourself." He reminded her even more of a dragon than her brother! "What sort of things do you normally do, when your haha-ue isn't trying to bring you along to here?
