Zak twirled the vial in his hand around his fingers easily as he knelt on the floor, sketching out the summoning circle in an acid green chalk. As he wrote, the sigils flared to life, already imbued with the necessary magical energy. The chalk that he held, however, was not his. It was Kali's. She would surely throw a fit when she found that he'd been using it, as she worked very hard to create it, but it was such a handy little invention, and he did love to piss her off.
Whistling, he set it aside and slipped the vial in his pockets, clapping his hands free of the dust and stepping away from the circle. Whispering the required words, he brought the circle to life, watching as the form of a young woman appeared in the center of it. Smiling rather wolfishly, and before she could catch her bearings, he lifted the vial from his pocket. "Catch." He said, rather gleefully, and tossed the vial at her from across the room.

Paulie thanked her fast reflexes as she instinctively caught the thing that was thrown at her, before even beginning to process that she was in some strange basement, holding some kind of glowing vial, and that she had apparently been transported somewhere.... and when she was only ... well you couldn't even really call it half-dressed, could you, when her tiny little nightgown was hanging on by one precariously-stubborn shoulder strap. Narrowing her eyes, the woman stared down at the man who had... apparently summoned her in her less-than-sleepwear clothing and cocked her head, mentally daring him to comment on her disheveled state of undress.
Most people would have panicked, or at the very least been embarrassed into a completely incoherent state.
But then, Paulette Branning wasn't like most people.
"Is there something you wanted?" She asked, pinching the vial gently between two fingers and not giving any sign of the physical discomfort she was in. "Because if there isn't, you interrupted something I was rather enjoying, and I'd like to get back to it."

"You were doing something important? Oh, goodie. Nice dress." He was definitely pleased to have ruined someone's day, even in the slightest way. She didn't SEEM bothered by it, but he'd noticed by now that women of this era had a nasty habit of turning quite haughty when they were upset. He was also pleased to be looking at her lingerie, though he didn't let that show. He was quite accustomed to suppressing his excitement, and his urges, when his young apprentice insisted upon searching for corn flakes in intimate wear that he was positive her uncle would throttle him for seeing. Actually, he wasn't even sure that her uncle knew she owned such attire.
"No, there was nothing that I wanted." Zak said, thrusting his hands into his pockets yet again. "Not much, anyways. Just to give you that. Congrats. I hope you enjoy parenthood." He tossed her a cheeky grin, rocking back on his heels. "I hear it's a blast. Though, you may want to postpone your plans for the evening. That thing could come out at any moment." The glee in his voice was evident, now.

"Coming out?" Paulie said, eying the vial experimentally and shifting her position just to aggravate the man who had interrupted her evening. Even if it didn't show, she knew there was some kind of reaction going on there. Not if he was really male! "What is it - some sort of virus? Mutation? Figure enhancement fluid? I definitely don't need that," she said, crossing her arms in a way that emphasized no, she certainly did not.
"Well, mister voyeur extraordinaire?"

"I already told you." Zak said, willfully ignoring her as she shifted positions. "It's a fun filled bundle of joy, also known to cause parenthood." Was she stupid? Had she not heard him? Regardless, he was growing tired of her, and her stupid lingerie.
"If you don't mind, step back into the center of the circle. I do believe we're done here. I don't need another squalling child appearing in my basement. They always make such horrid noises." He scowled slightly. There was a reason he wasn't allowed to parent Faust. He hated children, and the little Munster only served to remind him of it. Every. Single. Day.

"So, what, it's a fertility treatment?" Paulie said, really just trying to aggravate the man now. Still, she kept the vial in hand as she stepped back into the middle of the summoning circle... giving the angry stranger a rather good view of her choice of underwear as she did so. If he was going to summon her from a good time and call her an idiot, she might as well taunt him a little before he sent her back - and if he sent her elsewhere... well, it wouldn't be the first time she'd walked home in her underthings!

"Yes. Sure. Inject it. Drink it. I'd love to see what happens- OW!" Before the ill meaning encouragement could be completed, a sharp pain that rang of Nigel began in the base of his skull, growing more painful by the second.
"I am going to kill you, and your bad dye job!" Zak yelled, not at Paulie, but at the stairway and the upper floor, where Nigel was sure to be. He couldn't seem to shake the curse, however, and with a frustrated yell he turned back to the infuriatingly alluring woman, clutching his head with one hand and trying with all his might to ignore her rather fetching underpants.
"No, you imbecile, you aren't supposed to drink it and it isn't a fertility treatment. It's bloody magic. It'll just come out on it's own. Get some baby supplies, or something. For christ's sake, Nigel, knock it off!" He swatted at the air around his head as if it would help, and surprisingly, it did; at least, that was what he was going to believe. He would never admit that telling the truth was what ended the curse. Nope! It was waving his arms around like a maniac.

"Right, sure, whatever," Paulie said, fingering the vial lightly. "I'll just get out of here then and leave you to your mental breakdown, shall I?" she asked, quirking her lips at the obviously deranged and angry man. Hmph. He'd be fun to flirt with if he wasn't so twitchy!

"I am NOT having a mental breakdown!" Zak snapped, already summoning the magic to send her, and her lingerie, away. "Just...begone, you horrid half dressed woman." He seethed, waving a hand to activate the circle, watching as the familiar and comforting light of his magic spread through the runes. "And please, don't come back. We aren't here to help you if things go wrong." He sneered a bit, huffing as the lights consumed her, and sent her back to...whatever it was she had been doing. Or, whoever. Regardless, she was gone, and he could finally collapse, quite flustered, into his armchair.
He was starting to hate this. Maybe if he worked Nigel hard, he would just agree to smashing all of the damnable vials...?
