Spencer sighed. Why? Why did he have to be so blunt? Why did he have to be so forward after only one blind 'date'? He should have waited. He should have waited. Maybe if he had waited, maybe it wouldn't have been such a shock to Glacie when he confessed his true feelings. Maybe it would have given her time to see if she felt the same way... But... didn't she feel the same way? She... she seemed upset when Ash set Spencer up with the first girl... Kisa, was her name? Pretty enough vixen, seemed nice...But Glacie... Glacie... Glacie was stunning. Glacie was... Glacie. That's all Spencer wanted. But did she truly want him too? Why else would she have run off after seeing him with Kisa? Then again, she ran off when he told her he liked her... Flightly little thing, wasn't she?
Not watching where he was going, simply blindly following the glittering vixen's scent and the paw prints left in the snow, Spencer nearly ran smack into a tree several times. He had to find her, had to... what? What more could he do? Something. He just had to see her. He couldn't leave it with her running away. He couldn't.

Glacie was running. Why? Who knew anymore. Certainly not herself. Should she stop? Turn back and find Spencer? Tell him how she felt? No, she couldn't do that. She didn't know how she felt. She didn't like him at all, right? No. Wrong. Of course she did. So why wouldn't she stop and return to him? 'What am I so afraid of?' This question continually floated through the vixen's mind as she ran. Glacie could find no answer.
"Ash," she muttered, as if this name could solve all her problems. And Glacie believed that her best friend could. If there was anyone to turn to right now, it was to Ash. Without really thinking about directions, her feet steered her into the direction of her den. She hoped Ash was there, anyways. If not, she didn't know what she would do.
And as fate would have it, Ash was not yet home. After scanning the area to make sure Ash really was out and about on the mountain, Glacie dropped to the ground ungracefully, sighing and thinking more. What now? She could just wait. And what would she tell Ash once her friend arrived? The truth, obviously. But where to begin? That she liked Spencer? That she ran off earlier due to jealousy over that orange... vixen? Yes, that was probably the best way to start...
As she continued to imagine this conversation, Glacie slowly began to drift off to sleep, still awaiting Ash's arrival.

Ash had been off to look for Glacie after hearing the news from Spencer, and failed. So, she was returning home. To her den, for now. She had for awhile thought of leaving home for a new one, but really, she couldn't leave Glacie. She would have to take the vixen with her, most likely. She didn't mind, she liked being with her best friend. Always had. She gracefully descended from the sky, folding her large wings to her side and approached her den at a slightly slow speed after seeing a shadowy lump. When she approached she recognized it as Glacie. The one and only lazy lump of blue.
"Glacie, where have you been?" She mused, settling beside her friend, extending her wings over the vixen comfortingly. Her tail curled around her. All she knew was that Glacie and Spencer had talked, and, as a result of some sort Glacie had fled. What the talk had been about Spencer did not say.

Glacie smelt, felt, and heard her friend before it really registered in her mind that Ash had finally arrived. Once it finally sunk in, Glacie felt immediatly comforted. For the most part. Still lying where she was, she turned her head to face her friend. Her face only contained a troubled expression, nothing too emotional. "A- Ash?" She stuttered, blinking up at the 'Phim. "Where have I...? Well, I went looking for you for a bit, then came back here..."
By this time, Ash must have already spoken to Spencer. Of course she had. Glacie was convinced. What did they talk about? What did Ash think? And Spencer?
Glacie sighed, looking at her friend again. "I must know, Ash," she started, "Have you spoken to him? Spencer, that is... I-- I don't know what he has told you, but--" Glacie's voice faltered. But what? It wasn't as if he would lie. And was she willing to lie about their conversation? Why? What good would it do her?
Sighing again, she shook her head. "Nevermind... I don't know..."

Dang snow, always had to pick up when a trail needed to be followed. The pawprints his crush left behind were fading away, and so was her scent. Spencer had no clue where Glacie and Ash lived, no clue at all. He did know he had to find her though. He couldn't give up.
After several more minutes, Spencer heard voices. Female voices. Glacie!!! And Ash too! Wait... he shouldn't interrupt. Once he got close enough to see the girls, the sledfox hid amongst the trees so he wouldn't be seen. Not to spy, of course, no way, but to give them time to talk, maybe Ash could calm Glacie down... but, then again, maybe Ash would try to take Glacie away from him...

Ash frowned at Glacie, nudging the vixen. "We spoke." She said, wrapping her tail around the two and resting her head on Glacie's back, trying to make the vixen smile. "But he wouldn't say what happened, merely that you two spoke and you ran off." She truly didn't know about Spencer's confession, nor did she suspect. She was here to comfort her best friend.
"We've been friends since kit-hood, Glacie, I know when theirs something bothering you. Whats wrong?" She asked, nudging the vixen. Her ears flicked as she heard movements outside, red eyes raisin before looking at her friend once more.

Glacie groaned in frustration. Of course he didn't tell her what happened. Now she would have to. She tried to force herself to calm down again, closing her eyes and inhaling deeply, she decided to begin. "Well, he told me... He kind of said... It was something along the lines of... hesaidhelikedme... so I ran off." Glacie paused to take another deep breath, glancing at her friend nervously.
She had intended to wait until Ash responded, but impulsively continued for the sake of ranting. "I had no idea what to do, Ash!" She exclaimed suddenly. "What could I do, except run away? Hurt his feelings? Tell him I didn't feel the same way? But what if I did... do... What if I do like him..." Glacie let out another groan and buried her face in her paws once again.

Spencer grinned. He knew it. She did like him! His heart fluttered at the thought. She just said it, she liked him! But... but she seemed so distressed... This wasn't good. Spencer didn't want to hurt her... why was she so torn up about it? Was it... was it him? Was he not good enough for her? No, of course he wasn't. She was a beautiful, spoiled little vixen who just got thrown for a fruit loop by a filthy, chopped-tail racer. Spencer knew that underneath his fur he wasn't like the other sledfoxes, but Glacie didn't, and it was her thought that mattered.
His leg muscles twitched a bit as he thought about just turning and walking away. He should, so she'd never have to deal with him again... but... she did just say she liked him... that should count for something... Taking a deep breath, he perked his ears back up and hunkered down.
