The pale Spectral had given up on the sailor quite a while ago. She spent her time helping the newly freed souls understand what had happened to them. Some were angry at having their lives taken away, most were just sad and lost. Dreamer saw a purple lantern lore that seem to be following the same circular path around the clock tower. Perhaps the poor thing was trying to find its way inside. Dreamer hovered in its path hoping to distract it. "Hello there," said Dreamer. The lantern lore walked past her, seeming to search for something or someone. "I can help you if you're looking for something."

(( OOC I'm stacking the deck in your favor and trying to sweeten the odds. The ghosts have been stubborn enough, lol.
From this point on, any number that ends in 5, 6, 7 from your 100 sided dice is still an encounter, but.... for the 10 sided dice....
For 1 dice... 3, 6, 9 = capture total 6, 7 = capture total 10 = retry
For 2 dice... 3, 6, 9 = capture total 6, 7, 13, 14 = capture double numbers like 1, 1 or 2, 2 = capture total 10 or 20 = retry
Everything else = fail

Sarah entered the church waiting for the feeling of safety to wash over her. Pausing inside, she looked at the other townspeople gathered there. They appeared to look calmer having found the safety that they sought within the walls of the new church. She wondered why she didn't feel any safer now than she did outside.
Sarah moved to get a better look at the interior of the church. It was a waiting game now to see if the dragon would ignore the church or tear it down. What better way to distract herself than to spend the time checking out the new church.
Her first impression was how nice the church looked, not plain and weathered like the old church. Sarah wondered if the goddesses church looked like this when it was new. She remembered when the new church first opened and she'd suggested to her father that they go visit it. Her father had scoffed at her and said the goddesses' church was the only one they needed. Tears welled in her eyes as Sarah remembered her father, wondering if he'd gone down with the fiery remains of his ship. Finding a corner to sit in, Sarah let her grief wash over her.

Valkon glanced around himself. Except for a house here or there, or a scattered garage, little was left standing. Most of the people were fleeing in fear, carrying the scant belongings they had grabbed or without any at all. Many were headed into the park. Some were going towards the temple of the goddesses.
More were headed towards the Moon Church.
It rose like a dark statue against the skyline. It was mid-afternoon and Valkon studied the sky for a moment. He would have the rest accomplished before the day was done. It would be good to fly home and then play with Hawke awhile.
The legend had little care for the living but the memories that Watcher had shoved on him that night still bothered him. Tai was part of his death, but his father had been part of his life and death. Something still bothered him, but he could not see why. One day he would figure it out, but not now while he was scanning the city to see what was still moving.
The men at the docks were gone. The few remaining were packing their belongings and leaving. The shop owners that had survived were leaving also as were the residents. Those in the clock tower were not venturing out yet. Eventually they would, but the city would be rubble and they would leave. It would take a few days, but with the ghostlings around that were going to live here, they would soon take refuge elsewhere.
And they would be told what to do. Those heeding the warning would find more than they had here. But it was on faith they would leave and search for it.
His tail lashed back and forth as the church caught his attention. It was the only place still standing. Other than the areas of safety. He moved towards it purposefully.
(( OOC ... this metaplot is now closed. The three ghostlings refusing to be caught will be offered again in the final portion of the metaplot. Be ready to have fun and *ahembossfightahem*. January 26. XD
