I respect your opinion as well, wellwisher, but I do still disagree. I'll drop the subject after this, because I've said almost everything I want to, but first: Dredge vs. Mill A good dredge deck should be an auto-win against mill, because a good dredge deck(like Dredge-a-Tog or LftL in extended right now) wants as many cards in it's graveyard as possible. It doesn't matter what they are. Losing cards from your library ISN'T a crippling drawback. Look at Arc-Slogger. It doesn't matter if you go from 45 to 25 cards using it's ability twice, say, because you'll win before you die. Even if someone Glimpsed you twice, you'd still probably win before you died. It's the same with Dredge-a-Tog or LftL
I'm basing most of my comments on current competitive decks. Dredge-A-Tog, LftL, UR Tron, Boros Deck Wins, GhaziGlare, and so on, incidentally.
