She was faster than the creature at the bottom of her tree. Faster than many of her kind, her agility much like a blur, in the aspect she could leap branch to branch with ease, grip bark and climb tree trunks like she was born for it. She was a cold, heart killer. She knew it and she wasn't going to stop now, regardless to that fool's curious logic on life. She pounced, shadow dropping over the mouse, landing hard in the dirt, paw crushing her dinner under her weight before gathering it in her mouth and swallowing it whole, much like you would spaghetti with the tail the last to vanish. She looked around, the mouse not enough to fill. She turned swiftly, her tail whipping the air, slicing it with unmeasurable sounds all the way till the tall grass started, it's blades great for stealth. It's emerald beauty too enticing to the untrained eye.
Whatever creature was lurking in there, better have good instincts.

 Ragdoll was small for her age; not in the height manner no. In her weight and bulk. She was thin and lean; lanky some would call her. She wasn't really sure what she would call herself though... Well except for flexible. She liked to bend in odd ways; over and under in ways that others couldn't. She liked to bend to a point of pain and then push on just a bit more beyond that. She didn't mind the pain; she enjoyed it really. And she even enjoyed the shock on some peoples faces when they watched her do the things she could.
And what was this little Ulaya doing while there was a vicious adult so close by? Someone she should have obviously been trying to run away from or hide from or something. Well; she was rolling through the grass; bending and twisting in ways that her little body so definitely should not have been. Just giggling to herself as she acted like a little roly poly bug.
You think the terrified squeak cut short of a mouse would have alerted her to something wrong. But she was used to such sounds; it was the wild after all and there were wild hawks everywhere.

Nozomi crouched low, sounds of rustling and movement, made her ears flick lightly. She poked her muzzle through the long blades of grass, soon poking her entire head through to look over the flexible creature that was bending over in a few rolls, amusing herself. She raised her eyebrow curiously, from afar she could of mistaken this kit for a field mouse, still a string on a ball was all she was. Nozomi stretched out her paw and batted the kitten aside, sending it tumbling through the grass in a faster roll to what she was already doing.
She chucked evilly, the fur silky apart from the patch that her paw brushed past, pushing off her hind legs, she leaped over to the other side of the kitten and sat down, her tail whisking about behind her in a slow to quick movement. "What do we have here..." She hissed, narrowing her eyes down at the little one.
