Day 1 – Darkness, Despair and...Doughnuts?
The cavernous lair of the Sniperville Abyssal Cult seemed even more dark and foreboding today. Their members were being killed off systematically by special agents, which meant they couldn’t trust anyone anymore.
Kisuke Yamada was particularly worried today. He watched his friend and comrade die right in front of him, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He made his way to the temple, to pray to the Dark Ones. The magnificent stone doors slid open, sending a loud, rumbling noise throughout the lair. Unfortunately for Kisuke, the noise masked the gunshot. He fell to the ground as blood spattered across the floor of the temple.
“This is Mongoose.” The Sniper said into their walkie-talkie. “Another one down. Over and out.”

The mess hall, aside from all the unholy symbols decorating the walls, was not unlike any other. The crowd buzzed and hummed with fresh gossip from the outside world and everyone shared a joke on how lovely it would be when such nonsense was destroyed after the glorious Dark Ones awoke from their slumber.
Sitting down at her table,
beReaved__staRlight laid out the feast she had just received. Tomato soup, roast pork with vegetables and, for dessert, a doughnut. Ok, so by ordinary standards, this wasn’t technically a feast, but compared to what she was used to after being down here for so long, this was quite a nice touch.
She chatted to her fellow cultists as she ate, trying to find out the latest things. New sacrificial techniques, a supposed easy route to contact the Dark Ones directly, that kind of thing. However, when she took a bite out of the doughnut, she thought it tasted funny. Within moments, she was frothing at the mouth and a few, short, agonising moments later, she fell face-down onto the table, dead.
Nearby, the Cult Killer watched with a smirk on their face. They clicked a button on their walkie-talkie.
“Viper reporting in. Target eliminated.”

That night, as it approached midnight, The Council had their newest victim brought forward.
“Lay the sacrifice upon the pedestal. The time is nearing; the Dark Ones need to be appeased.”
Kozmo6 was dragged to the centre of the room and bound in chains on top of a granite pedestal. Dried blood ran down the sides from countless sacrifices prior to this.
“Come on! I’m not one of the ones running around killing our creed! I helped recruit some of them!” Kozmo shouted out.
The leader of the Council stood down from his seat and stepped toward Kozmo.
“Look at it this way, dear child. Whatever your aspirations, this will serve only to aid in the awakening of our Masters,” he said, picking up the ceremonial dagger lying beside Kozmo.
Kozmo was suddenly silent. As the leader of the Council slowly raised the dagger, he blinked twice.
“This is gonna rock!” He said, with a grin on his face, as the dagger plunged downwards toward his chest.

You’ll probably recognise the format here. Classic game, no changes whatsoever, but with one small twist: it’s the SGers who are evil, not the Sniper and the CK! Will codename Mongoose, the Sniper, and Viper, the Cult Killer, be able to stop the dastardly Cultists? Or will they become sacrifices to the demonic overlords the Cult worship? Only time will tell.
Note: I won’t be doing the walkie-talkie bits every day. I just thought it would illustrate the roles a bit better in this application.
Roles:1x Sniper – Agent Mongoose. Specialises in long-ranged weaponry to pick off targets from afar.
1x Cult Killer – Agent Viper. Specialises in stealth and a wide range of deadly tools to kill even the trickiest of targets.
1-2x Cult Psychic(s) – High-ranking members of the Cult. These members are so in tune with the Dark Ones, they are allowed limited visions to enable them to work out who the threats to the Cult are.
2-3x Spirit Watchers – The trained Cult guardians. Through the use of dark magic and the sacrifice of a small animal, the Spirit Watchers are able to cast protective wards that grant the recipient temporary immortality.
