Yesterday (in Australia) was the arrival of Kingdom Hearts new game, Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gm3CVVIr9M&feature=related
What are your thoughts on what you have heard and are you going to buy it. I have already sadly i was tired today and fell asleep when i got to travelers town but that was from my lack of sleep during these school holidays.

((Btw I am The15thday I just got bored and maybe a new character who's from the org)

Iiiii'm not gonna buy it. Horrible reviews from fellow gamers and the overall stickiness of controls from 358/2 Days pushed me away from it.

Besides, I have Pokemon Black and White coming out in two months, so I'm set.

Well....I am on the last level of the last level so I am going to slap you with my opinion. Take it or leave it, it is up to you.

I really like it. It was a pretty ingenious way to reboot the original game. Being stuck in a computer age, it was fun to see it played out in a game. Finding backdoors into the system journal and killing computer bugs made me feel like I was in ReBoot or Tron while still being able to play classic Disney and Final Fantasy. Yes, the controls got a bit sticky in parts, but I can't sensibly hold that against them. That is a problem that has shown itself in a number of handheld games so I am not surprised that something like that happened for KH.

I do like the quality of the cutscenes and the battle system. It feels like they tried to make it a bit more...I don't know if complicated is the right word. The melding system from 358/2 gave you plenty of material to work with. It feels like they really cut your supply short and then never seem to give you enough money to buy more with Re:Coded. I honestly think that is the worst part of the game. Sora kept his sort of brash innocence from the original while the other characters kept their experienced personality's from after the second game. The blend was beautiful in the way it really focused on the emotions and memories of those involved while being mature about it.

The inclusion of the Castle Oblivion levels at the end are a huge bonus as that was part of Chain of Memories not KH1. They make it very obvious that you have to replay the backdoor sections several times with increasing high score if you want to get the most out of it. Each level of the Castle has to be played at least three times with different strategies to unlock all three cards for that level.

All in all it is a great take on the original. The battle system can stick in places and you never seem to get enough in terms of melding commands, but it is still hours of fun thanks to the necessary replays to unlock everything.

Sadly I'm stuck at agrabar my least favourite place in all of the kh games
I had fun with this more then i did with 358/2. It's very well made but i did get annoyed when they didn't have the same voice actor for kh1 so it made him sound older

I got stuck there too. I left the world and then went back and it dropped me right in front of the people I was looking for and the game went on. I feel like a bit of a cheat for not finding the Princess myself (was that who I was looking for? ) but I just had to take a break and go back. Jafar was just too hard to deal with at my level.

I got used to the voices but I do miss the original. Sora really sounded too old but I liked the others just fine.

Just finished by the way and once more they allude to the next game--and that wasn't even the secret ending! Looking forward to KH on the new DSi:3D more then ever.

My question is how did Kingdom Hearts end up on a guild for Sailor Moon?

Or am I still tired from today.......erg I'm too exhausted I can't tell which.

But yeah Re:Coded is way different from the other games as well. Sadly, it's way more difficult(Cloud is so hard to beat!!! Darnit!!). I'm sure people have different opinions.......
