Hey, so I'm getting really bored with my current music collection.
I like a ton of different types of music, most genres, etc. Not a big fan of rap or country, but I am pretty flexible.
My favourite bands would be Dir en Grey, Florence + the Machine, Rammstein, Swing, Muse, Billy Talent, Armchair Cynics, Three Days Grace, Epica, HIM, Tarja Turunen, Imogen Heap, Marianas Trench, Nightwish, Nine Inch Nails, Sarah Brightman, System of a Down, Versailles, etc.
Bonus points if it's not English :'D I love foreign music. Right now I'm particularly into German music, but I've only discovered a couple bands.

Might I recommend D'espairsRay? They are my favourite band.
Uhm, the only German bands I know other than Rammstein are Oomph!, E Nomine, and Subway To Sally.
Also, Orphaned Land and Infected Mushroom. Both Israeli, both very good.
I'm tired and I'll organize my thoughts later. But these are my recommendations so far. :D

Well, since noone has yet suggested it, I'll suggest you to try to listen to the Vocaloids (Japanese music software, aka no real people). There are different vocaloids, but my personal favourites are Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka ^^ LUKAMIKUI prefer more J-metal (Hagane Miku), but there are other songs too ^_^ Other than that, I can suggest Eluveitie (folk metal) and The Birthday Massacre.
