He chuckles. "No, but I've seen many stars. Through telescopes and such. I've never been to another star though."

"Oh," she said softly, a bit disappointed. She almost told him that she had seen other stars, other galaxies... but she knew now that she never had. That all these things she thought made her so special were all just imagination. He'd have no interest in that.

A telescope? Hadn't he said going to one? Or... she glanced up at him, startled. Was he like her? Did he realize that he couldn't do all he said he could too? Had someone shattered his dreams as well?

She nodded softly, following, mute. Her eyes were downcast. She... wished no one had ever told her the truth. She did not know if anyone had shattered his dreams, as hers had been rent from her, but if not.... she could not bear to watch, nor could she bear to be the one to disillusion him.

He nudged her gently. "Penny for your thoughts?" He didn't want to just take her to the future and then travel trough the stars. He had done it once. It was a bit dangerous as the journey was long and never as good as seeing the stars through the telescope...
