Hey you guys. I come to you with a concern. I recently moved from the States to Germany. while in the states I experienced strange voices in my house late at night (not a family member), violent bed shaking, a shadowy figure dashing into the bathroom. I tried to debunk the ones I could, and couldn't explain them. When I moved to Germany I did so in hopes that the ghost would stay in the house in the states (this isn't the reason I moved btw), but it didn't. last night I heard scuffling downstairs that wasn't from my family, as it was late at night and I would have heard them use one of the staircases. Then there was a metallic "clang" under my bed that had never been made before (my bedframe is metal), just one clang. then, what sold the show for me, was the single shake of the bed, like the whole mattress moved forward 1 foot n then back 1 foot. after freezing in position and trying to mimic the incident to make sure I wasn't the cause, I jumped out of bed, grabbing my bible, another religious book, a home-made nail rosary, and a 6 inch knife. This ghost is following me and I have no clue why.

I might have found where it started however. In the states I visited an old insane asylum. At the time my sensitivity to spirits wasn't very developed, and I didn't really notice anything wrong, but my mother, who is very sensitive, refused to enter the building because of how many bad things there were and didn't want to bring one home. then, a couple months ago, I saw, while sitting inone of my college classes, a bronze mask flash before my eyes. It struck me as so random that I drew what I saw, and just now I made the connection that they used things like that in the old insane asylums. This leads me to believe that I somehow had a spirit attach itself to me in that asylum. Me and my team are going to try and help this spirit ASAP or get rid of it or something, because I'm again afraid to sleep at night.

Any suggestions? I'm in desperate need os them or advice or anything really. I just want to get rid of the spirit but if it needs my help I'll do the little I can. My main concern is this: How was it able to follow me outside of the asylum, let alone the state, and again let alone a whole hemishpere! I didn't buy or take anything from the asylum, and as far as I know only not-so-nice spirits have the power to do what I've described. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I haven't tried confronting it yet. And it hasn't shown any signs at all of wanting to harm me, but it just scares me when it tries to communicate, i.e. bed shaking and bangning under my bed. My parents won't listen to me, I tried telling them before I moved. My dad just blew me off, so I give up asking them for help (I'm 19 years old so I'm still with my parents for the time being). I'm afraid to use a digital recorder while I sleep, because I'm afraid I'll find something and never get a good nights sleep again. My friend suggested to me that while in the asylum that the ghost sensed that I was sensitive and clung to me, which is entirely possible. The only reason I can imagine it attaching to me if it doesn't want to hurt me is if it wants me to help it. This sounds totally lame and cliche like Ghost Whisperer or something like that but I swear it's true. I don't remember the name of the asylum off the top of my head, but it was in Williamsburg, Virginia I believe. I'll do some research and post a link to it for you and anyone else interested in helping me. And as far as the spirit being the same, it's a little complicated. There could be as many as four spirits in my old house in the states: the man and woman from the voices, the shadow person, and the bed shaker. The bed shaker is what followed me. And like I said, I think it attached to me from the asylum because of the mask that flashed before my eyes in class. To clarify, I was not asleep, I was a little bit zoned out, but still listening to the instructor when it flashed in front of me. As far as I know the other spirits didn't follow me. The house was less than 10 years old and no one had died there so it was strange. And the prior owners even had the house blessed for me, which made me even more worried. not that they had it blessed (they heard i was very afraid of evil spirits and did it for me) but i know that when hosues get blessed and something bad is in it, it temporarily gets rid of it, then it comes back more pissed than ever. And to add to the possibility of the asylum origin, the bed shakes could be a memory from the spirit, like it's trying to communicate through something it experienced. The more I think about it the more I sound like I should be talking to Melinda Gordon >.< lol

I looked at the site, I do want to read some more about it. I think I have heard of it before and I am sure I did learn about it at some point but I haven't heard much about the hauntings there.
The house you lived at in the states could have been quite haunted because you never know what could have happened onthe land before the house was built.
I have experienced the bed shaking and I know how unnerving it can be. But I think right now your options are to ignore it or try and communicate with it. I do think that since it hasn't harmed you yet, it probably will not. Also, I think it did attach to you because of your sensitivity. I don't think it sounds ridiculous or anything of the sort. I just believe that some people are here on this earth with certain abilities to help others either living or dead. Of course, as you know and will continue to find, not everyone will believe it.
On another note, I was planning on taking a trip down to the historic triangle in Virginia and do some paranormal investigation. So as long as that asylum still does tours or has a museum area, if I can sneak a recorder in, I'll let you know what I can find out.

Okay, I don't know exactly when I am going for sure, but I will let you know how it goes. But yes, I do believe that some people, like you, are put on this earth for that purpose. Btw, that is an awesome thing to go to school for. I went to school for Criminal Justice and then EMS.

EMS - is emergency medical services.

That is very strange about the recorder. I know spirits can really manipulate equipment.

So, Steve is acting up again. Two incidents in the past four days, and one night was a double whammy. He's getting fussy and all moody.

No, but thank you for reminding em to do that! What day was night of teh 30th and night of the 28th, idk what times, ill start trying to look at them.
