Sitting in a tree, Colleen leans back and looks over the landscape of Nagrand, enjoying the moment of silence. As she rest, a black gryphon flies in, a gnome sitting in saddle, seeming all the more tiny. He dismounts, the gryphon taking to the air immediately. The gnome, known as Jack Gearblade, looks around. "Where is she? Is this even the right floating island among floating islands? What could she possibly train with up here?" He walks around for a minute, looking for Colleen.
Colleen's ears flicked at the voice that appeared to come from below. With a toothy chuckle, she hopped down from the branch, landing right behind Jack. "Boo!"
Jack turned to her, not even flinching at her sudden appearance. "There you are. I heard you chuckling." Colleen stands and grins. "I figured ya would... so whattya think?" She gestured around her, at the floating island on which they stood. "Kinda a nice place, yeah?"

Jack smiles. "Yes, it is a nice place. Is this where you have been training?"
Colleen wandered over to the edge and looked down. "Can't even see t' people below." She looks back at Jack. "Oh, here an' there an' everywhere. There's ogres to t' north. They are fun t' plague. Have these warbeads that I can get a few shinies for." She sits down near the edge, pulling out a knife to fiddle with.
Jack walks over and sits down next to her. He looks up at her as he speaks. "Well, making money is good. Do you pickpocket them or just kill them and take the beads?"
Colleen chuckles. "Both. T' look on their dumb faces is just too priceless to pass up."
Jack chuckles at her. "I chose somewhere a little more... Hostile. Can you guess?"
Colleen thinks for a long moment before grinning. "Zev's Bathroom?"
Jack grins back. "Yeah right. Hiro would kill me. No, Shadowmoon Valley. What better place to insure you can stealth, steal, kill, assassinate, and destroy?"
"Ooooh, I've been hearin' about that place. Some tentacled guy was trying t' get me t' go there an' help out. T' pickings pretty good there?"
Jack shakes his head. "Only demon's treasure. Nothing of real value."
Colleen nods thoughtfully. "Though high on t' experience?"
Jack nods, grinning behind his mask. "Oh yeah. You kill one demon, you have to think fast to avoid the other six that are rushing you. It helps you learn to think on your feet."
Tossing the dagger in the air repeatedly and catching it, something seems to be on Colleen's mind. "Sounds like an adventure t' be had."
Jack watchs the dagger. "Something troubling you?"
Colleen looks down at the gnome. "Last eve, wit' the imposter..."
"Go on..." Jack looks at her, curious.
"Why didn't ya shoot 'im?"
Jack does not make eye contact, but looks at her. "You were in danger of death. I'm a gnome, not heartless. I wasn't going to let something happen to my favorite partner." Jack nudges her, grinning behind his mask.
Colleen smiles toothily and nudges him back before grabbing him by the shoulders and giving him a light noogie. "Awww, ya so sweet." She lets him go, picking up her throwing blade and putting it back in it's sheath. "Have t' admit though, ya my only partner t' stick around fer so long... Still, it's appreciated an' all."
Jack chuckles lightly. "Well, what can I say? I've grown attached to you." He smiles at Colleen.
She raises an eyebrow. "Oh?" she seems to redden slightly under her fur, not expecting that response.
