The last week had been boring. So boring Coralie thought beating her skull against the wall would be more fun. Luckily she was more creative than that and had decided enough was enough. They were going to do something fun. Really fun. So it hadn't taken her long to grab Morton and let him in on her little idea: This Spiderday they were going to plan a massive game of Truth or Dare.

She made posters, really odd things that seemed to ramble and not really explain anything. All they said was "looking for something fun?" or "we have booze! Oh wait, not really, but the next best thing to it, or something". They didn't say what the game was, just that they'd be playing something. Despite how unclear they were (because Cora had found it much more interesting to see how ridiculous she could make those posters), they still said the time and location: Midnight on Spiderday on the edge of the Weeping Forest.

That night she flew over to the agreed location, leaving both Wilfred and Luka behind. Wilfred would have just complained the entire time and been a spoil sport. While often she found it funny, tonight she didn't want any party poopers if she could help it. She didn't know about the rest of who was going to show up, but she was bored and that mean she was going all out.

It hadn't really bothered him that Coralie had practically dragged him away one day he'd been napping, claiming that they had things to do because jack-damnit, she was bored. He had little to no time at all to react, and despite it, he had gone along with it. In all honesty, the ghoul could have practically told him she was determined to walk off the edge of the world and he'd have told her he would happily join her on that particular adventure. If only because it was bound to be interesting.

So thus, when she'd come up with this particular idea, the gargoyle had swiftly decided he wanted in on it. Of course, then again, he'd probably have been dragged in for the ride even if he hadn't been up for it. So many students had left on the Train, and while it'd been nice to have the school sorta empty-ish at first, it'd grown boring soon. He was glad they'd all seemed to return, and with them, the activity and life he recalled and actually cherished. As soon as they'd returned, he helped Coralie create the posters and notes he'd carefully stuck around school, in the strangest of places, from bathrooms to other crooks and corners. He'd gone as far as sneaking around some of the dorms in order to slip the posters under some doors.

The date and time the posters indicated had come rather swiftly and... while Morton had absolutely no idea if anyone would show up (hey, if they didn't, he figured they'd still do something fun regardless), he still went to the Weeping Forest. He flew there in his true form, landing as silently as he could manage, "What time is it, exactly?" he asked as he emerged from some shrubs, quickly favoring his more humanoid form for the game, "Did anyone come?" he was addressing Coralie, whom he'd spotted right before landing, arching a brow at her lack of hat, "Where's the hat? You ditched it?"
