I do yoga as often as possible, and am wondering who else in Burn does it, as well as how often and where you do yoga i.e. at home using a DVD or at a yoga/fitness class. I also am interested in what poses/series of poses really makes you feel great or strong or totally relaxed. This thread can also be for embarrassing experiences that have to do with yoga, or poses that just haven't worked out for you and perhaps should be avoided. Or maybe even just where you like to buy your yoga clothes that you never wear! Whatever you want, so long as it has to do with yoga.
In a nutshell, this thread is about yoga, as it has become part of the lifestyles of many people today.
To start off, I've had a couple yoga DVDs for a few years, although I didn't get into using them frequently until now. I think one of them is by some pre-teen girl group called Betwixt or however they spell it, which I never use; and Yoga for Young Bodies, which I find neat since it combines different types of yoga with a bit of dance movements. The only yoga attire I have is a pair of fitted pants that I got from Target for $20. xD

I love yoga. I got started a few years ago learning from DVDs and books. I've never been to a class or anything. I like to do the Sun Salutations best, and I totally just wear some PJs...no yoga gear for me. xd

I do yoga on the Wii Fit. I enjoy it a lot.
It's been so long since I've done it that I should get back into doing it again. sad

The yoga pose names are kind of taking over my life... Like when the track team is stretching, I'll be like, "Tortoise pose! Pigeon!" and other names. And the long jump coach is also the school's yoga teacher. xD

I have been going to a yoga class for just over two years now. Before that, I used a DVD.

I am pretty avid about doing yoga.I usually do a little when I wake up and when I come home from school. I had started off watching these Yoga dvds. They were an hour long and always wiped me out because I always wanted to move just as fast as them or do just as well. Eventually, my family bought a Wii fit board and I had been playing on that. There are a lot of moves that one can't do on the board, but there are balance games and strength trainers on there to make up for it. In my first semester of college, I chose to take a Yoga class for both quarters. I learned a lot in that class. I will probably forget the names eventually, but I do remember all of the moves. It was a lot of fun. My stepmom recently signed the family up for the YMCA for a whole year. They have yoga classes there, but they always coincide with my World Civilizations II class. >.< I remember I was one of the only ones that could lift myself off the ground in most of the poses that went to that. Of course, I have long limbs and a short torso, so. . .
