Because i haven't gotten a wireless mouse, i have to use my laptop mouse pad. It's kind of hard to do some words because google translate is, well, CRAP.

This is what i have.
Nihon
Konnichiwa
Hai

It took 10 minutes to do those 3, as to why i don't have that many.

Anyone else here know/learning Japanese?
Is anyone interested in learning another language?

OKAY!
I've been cramming my brain with japanese vocab and grammar from 10pm to 12am, and i have officially read two japanese sentences (and by read, i mean i had to look at the characters and then find the pronunciations). One i know is right, the other... uh, not so much. My japanese characters actually look pretty good when i write them out, so i'll be sure to take a picture soon.

Namae wa nani desuka
What is your name?

Tomodachi no namae wa nandesuka
What is my friends name?

^^i'm pretty sure that one is wrong.

You are almost everything to me...

that is more or less correct...
友達の名前は何ですか? (I hope people don't just see squares for that '~')

except for the first one, you would not say Namae wa nani desuka, you would say Namae wa nan desuka...

...but nothing is more important to me than me.

I'm also wondering when you use 'wa' and 'ga'

Neko wa kawaiidesu
Cats are cute
Neko ga kowai
Cats are scary

Wa and Ga both mean 'are' right?

Kore no imi wa nanidesu no ka?!
Direct Trans: What is the meaning of this?
Or...
NANDESKA?!

Konnichiwa is hello in the evening.
Hai is yes.
Moshi-moshi is hello over the phone.
Itadakimas is "it's time to eat"

JAPANESE PEOPLE USUALLY HAVE A VOWEL AT THE END OF A WORD.
If addressing a person named Lloyd, they'd say Lloydo. They also say their "r"s as a sort of d. Their "l"s are a sort of r. (Ex: We must keep the water "crean.") (For the r/d thing, maybe for my name irl, Francesca, they'd say Fudandesca?) Confusing, right?

I can't read Hirigana or Katakana, but I can read romanji.

That R and L thing is called 'engrish' (at least i think) Where you say an english word with a japanese accent. Hence the R in english XD

You are almost everything to me...

Hnn... how to explain...
Well the best example I can think of is our 'a' and 'an' they both mean the same thing, yet when and where we use them are different.
Nani kore - what is that
namae wa nandesuka - what is your name.

In cats are cute and cats are scary, you would use wa, ga isn't really used there...
so it would be neko wa kawaii desu for cats are cute
and neko wa kowai for cats are scary...

...but nothing is more important to me than me.

Nani does mean what, but the some characters are... synonyms? Like in the title for Full Metal Alchemist in japanese, it has the character for 'money' three times in it. However, it also is part of the title yet it doesn't actually say money.

It can mean more than one thing. :3

ahahahahaha~ omg I laughed so much! *takes deep breath* I'm sorry.
No, Nippon is just a fail way of saying Nihon, because the japanese are sometimes known to pronounce 'telephone' as 'terepone' and other such sounds with a 'p'
it was and I suppose still is, a racial slur. For example you would call a japanese person a n**.

(I learnt this because my great grandmother started complaining that I was learning the language of the yellow Nips)

I actually took Japanese for four years in highschool :3
I'm a little rusty now, but I still know most of my hiragana, some of my katakana and basic sentence structure.
If you ever want to struggle through some practice with me, let me know sweatdrop
