Dude, yes, you are.
Iakun, I think those of us who are at least trying to improve ourselves are slightly more mature than the rest, even if we're still technically babies. And you strike me as the improving type.

Interesting as in I doubt myself so much I don't think I ever improve so when on rare occassion someone tells me they think I'm doing alright, I always wonder what makes them come to that conclusion.

I believe the expression "artists are their own worst critics"
should apply to more then artists.
It's the people that REALLY try to improve themselves... That never think they ever succeed.

Nail on the head, dude. 3nodding
What he said, Iakun. After all, if we didn't think there was still a lot wrong with us, we wouldn't keep trying, and we'd be back where we started. Even though I haven't known you long enough to see any differences, I can see that you seem to be trying. You're a thinker, and that counts for more by itself than most people's efforts for their whole lives. It may make you miserable sometimes, but it also gives you a leg up in the cosmic game of wisdom. And you make conscious efforts to understand both yourself and the world; I can tell that from previous convos. No one who is on the quest for truth and knowledge is an idle peon. Trust me, your efforts show, even to those of us who don't know you so well.
