Okay this isn't directly about The Cure, but it is Cure related, and
thought I would share.
Today I recieved a copy of a graphic novella which will be my first printed..er...actually typed review. (And am I bit nervous about it, but it is a wonderful book to start with, this isn't my actual review). It's called A Strange Day and is written Damon Hurd and illustrated by Tataiana Gill, published by Alternative Comics.
The story focuses around two characters, Miles and Anna, who meet while skipping school to get the latest Cure album, and find a kindred spirit in each other, and as they get to know each other they become more aware of themselves. It is a very quaint and touching read and I do recommend it.

The book is just called A Strange Day because it quotes the song in it...I don't want to give too much of the story away, but it's obvious the story takes place in 1996. Main reason why I got this book was not only because of the Cure reference but from a personal experience, my s/o and I got together because of The Cure, and in that time era as well, so we could really relate to the story (well, we were much older than the characters, okay I WAS...my s/o is four and half years younger than me.)
Uhm anyways, you can find the book in any comic shop, well if they got it in, a lot of stores don't get the independant books unless special ordered, or have big indy fans like my s/o and I running the store. But there is always the net to get it:
If you go to this website
you can see some sample pages and order the book as well.
I should be working on the re-write of my review....gah. -procrastinates even more-

Haha, awesome. I love graphic novels. And if they got the Cure mentioned in it, I must check this out.

What really sucks is not a lot of comic stores order indy books unless they are special ordered or if there are employees who support indy publishers like my s/o does. It isn't anything action packed or supernatural, it's quite a normal type story.
Of course I work really hard on my review (well, for the most part) and do a fairly good job for my first one, according to my editor, and what happens? The site gets hacked and isn't back up yet because they have to switch servers. *sigh*
