A typical non-shinobi village with numerous shops and vendors. It also has many drinking parlors and small-time gambling stations. It is usually bustling with life at day and relatively quiet at night. Surrounding the village is a vast countryside with a large mountain to the north.

Shoving an arm out of his view, Cohen rattled the die in his cup as he grinned at the old man in front of him. So far he'd won a hefty amount of money but stopping wasn't his deal. Winning was. With a sharp jerk he sent the die clattering across the board as the old man held his breath and all around them stared intently, waiting for the result "7!" shouted the watcher and Cohen cheered as the crowds began shouting, leaning forward to collect his winnings.

[Hex - Age 25]

Unable to stand the smoky and loud gambling spots of the village, Hex ducked into one of the many drinking parlors that dotted the area. He wasn't a heavy drinker himself, but it was pleasant compared to some of the other places around. The only unfortunate thing about the parlor was that it was right next to one of the loudest gambling spots. From what he could hear, someone was on a hot streak. He couldn't figure out how such things could enthrall anyone but the person winning. He also wondered if the sounds would be different if someone was losing miserably. Did gambling addicts berate one another? Did they console one another? Did they try and find the brighter side if they lost their entire month's income? Whatever they did, they almost always did it loudly. He was determined to not let it bother him, though. He simply sipped at his small bowl of jasmine tea, closed his eyes, sat back against his seat, and tried to keep himself from acting rashly.

Cohen ducked into the parlor as he left the gambling arena, tugging the old man he'd just beaten with him "Don't be so sore, oba! Come on, I'll treat you ok?" he appeased him, moving the old man to sit at the counter. He signaled to the waiters and muttered "Anything he wants. Its fine..." he smiled as the old man started to cheer up with tea and food before settling down next to a man in glasses "Ha. Old folks. Love 'em to death." he chuckled, rubbing a hand up and down the back of his neck.
