So as many of you know the boyfriend and I went to Florida last month to visit his mom. Well, the lady that owns the house his mom lives at is a friend of the family, and the person that was living in the second apartment just moved out. So we can possibly live there for $300/month plus splitting the utils with his mom. If everything works out, we are leaving in a few weeks and the move is going to be our anniversary present to each other since that is coming up in Feb. There will be no problems taking Lazy, Sugar and the fish.
I'm sooo excited I really hope this works out because I can't stay here with my mom much longer. Here I have to cook for and clean up after 4-5 people, 4 cats as well as act as my mom's personal hand servant and even then, she is never happy and whenever anyone does anything wrong, I'm always the one that gets yelled at. The effect this is having on my mental well being is not good at all. When we move there will just be the two of us and the one cat. Life is going to be so much easier and everything is really close there so I'll have a better time of finding a job.
He's going to try getting health insurance at the VA and if that works out then we are getting married in April. Nothing big or fancy, probably a small ceremony on the beach, which is exactly what I want anyway.
