Personality:
Ka is a reclusive and quiet tom, apt to disappear into the background when he chooses to. The only dependable way of finding him is relying on his overprotective nature. If his sibling Eshe is around, it’s certain he’s not too far behind. Those that make the mistake of harassing his sister are sure to meet swift retribution by his claw. The feline is very skeptical of strangers, making it very difficult to form a friendship with him. Even those do form some sort of companionship with him find the he’s very soft spoken and reserved. However he is very loyal and kind to those who win his favor.

History:
Ka was born into a litter of twins, his opposite being his sister Eshe. When both kittens first opened their eyes, it became apparent that both had been born blind. Under an unkind hound master, this impairment could have easily been their death sentence. However, the twins were spared and were sent off to boarding school like all kits their age.

During their time in school, the two formed an instinctual bond, relying on each other for support and navigation. Because their handicap made learning difficult, they often spent time teaching each other in subjects they had the most trouble in. As his sister was more gentle and timid in nature, Ka became her defender, warding off any danger that threatened his sibling. Bullying usually wasn't a problem; the two were usually avoided since their impairment made conversation awkward.

Upon the completion of his schooling, Ka and his sister were sold to a poor hound master by the name of Capone. Selfish, malicious, and unhappy with his lot in life, the cur often directed his anger upon his slaves. Being blind and unable to escape as easily, the twins were often the first to suffer from his cruel mistreatment. Once again, Ka unconsciously rose as his sibling's defender. When danger was present, he hid his sister to spare her from being beaten. In fact, he took beatings for her when he could. Being beaten left no ill feelings toward Eshe. Just a sense of responsibility in protecting his better half.

Desperate for money, their master eventually returned the twins to the black market. It seemed their disfigurement attracted the attention of the eccentric hound Bomani as he bought them almost immediately and as a set too even though the siblings were worried about being separated. Thus they have begun their new life in Bomani's household.

Eshe: Ka's twin sister and only friend. He goes wherever she does.
Bomani: Ka is still unsure what to make of this eccentric hound he now calls master...
