Re: the Spike/JM gay thing...

1.) Spike is very clearly not gay, although it is strongly implied that he and Angel have been intimate at least once, and his constant use of slang terms for "gay" as insults toward others does make one wonder how secure he is in his sexuality. mrgreen

2.) I was watching the commentary track for one of the episodes with Braniac on Smallville season 5, and JM made reference to his girlfriend being on the set that day. He also said that Tom Welling (Clark) kept asking him if he thought this girl or that was hot, and JM got the impression that he was trying to figure out if he was gay or straight. I guess that makes it quite the rumor if his coworkers aren't sure! xd

Someone's orientation doesn't change his or her talents or attractiveness. If JM were homosexual, it would just prove even more what a talented actor he is, but he's not, so, never mind about it, then. Just doing my job of crushing the dreams of those that were trying to crush the dreams of others... wink

I love Spike's colorful array of curses and profanities; it makes me feel like standard American swear words just aren't up to snuff. Sometimes when I'm getting frustrated at a video game, I'll tell the bad guys to sod off, and some of my put-downs have a bit of a Spike-like pacing and feel to them, but that's about the extent of it. My guy, on the other hand, does burst out with the occasional "Bloody Hell!" He also calls me "luv" or "pet" at times, and will occasionally make an intentionally Spike-like pose or gesture, I think mostly to geta reaction out of me. Gotta say, it works every time... heart

Yes, yes, I believe you are very correct. xd I freaked out the other day when I saw there were life-sized posters of him on eBay. I was like, "It's so wrong...and yet, so very right..." mrgreen
