I also don't know because it seems like he might like you, but he could just be really friendly.
I had a friend and I didn't have a seat they would pat thier lap and get me to sit on thier lap.... It wasn't that they liked me that way or anything, that's just how we do things. xp
The thing is, is what do you feel he was, more like a nice friendly person, or someone who has feelings for you?

well some ppl are just like that! so maybe he is just that type of person ..... of not then he wants more!

It sounds like he really likes you. I know you've had experinces with people tugging at your heartstrings and then letting you down. But if you really want to find someone that you spend the rest of your life with, that's a chance you'll have to take. Nothing ventured; Nothing gained.
Also he asked you to sit on his lap. Since he obviously wasn't scared of being crushed, there may be a chance that he's an FA and you won't find them to often.

He probably likes you. Do you still talk to him? Keep hanging out with him, and don't let the relationship end! By the way, how old are you and how old is he? (Just curious...)
