 Tokee made sure to there just before sun down. After all his friend wasn't one for early mornings like he was, but he wanted to visit her today. He wanted to give her a special present.
His blue feathers reflected the sun light as he peered into her burrow in the tree, staring as he watched her sleep, was she dreaming? Was it something nice? He wondered many thing, but first, he had to give her the present. So, into the burrow he flew, and perched on the wall of the tree that she leaned on. He then began to wash her fur while she slept, hoping not to wake her. She hated baths, so it was the easier when she was asleep. It was his gift to her.
Well, and maybe it was a bit of a gift to him as well. Being that he loved to give the bat baths, it was harder then trying to clean feathers, and sometime she had a bug wedged in to her fur that he could eat. Sooooo, it was a win/win. At least that's how he felt, she didn't necessarily feel the same way though.

Moonlit orbs floated around her. White and silver luminescented her face with a glow so beautiful, it reminded her of stars. These orbs... What are they? Reaching out her wings, her little finger curled to catch one. More and more came, surrounding her in a glow, her eyes started to burn, but she felt... comfortable, unlike what the sun's glow made her feel.
A little bite stung her side and she jerked, wondering what had bitten her. Her fur felt damp, and light like she was clean.
Wait... cleaniless meant a bath. Flapping her wing, she awoke and tried to scramble away from her attacker, the one giving her a bath. "No, please! Anything but this!" She screeched and curled her wings around her like a blanket, trying to shield herself from this terrible morning. "It's daytime, do you know that you are disturbing my sleep?"

Tokee chuckled and watched her, hopping down below her as he looked up at her, " It's getting closer to night time though. I figured I'd swing by before I had to sleep, myself. Now let me clean you!" He hopped back into the air and tried reaching his head under her wing so that he could clean her behind her ears.
" You never know if you have a tick in your fur!" He told her. They had always been like this, for as long as he could remember. His father would clean him, and she'd just talk about how horrific a bath was... And then he'd tried to give her a bath. He got to give her a complete one for his birthday once, but none sense, and before that. She was a sweet friend, and a strong friend. Together they made a pretty good team.
They learned from each other, studied the same thing, took interest in the same fighting styles. She was a bit less klutzy though. A bit hardier. That's why she would be the one to distract while he did damage from afar. She was much more talented, but he didn't mind. She was reliable and kind, that's all he cared about.

"Noooo!" She exclaimed, trying to jump onto the ceiling of her burrow and get away from him. She felt clean, too clean for her comfort. She felt the wind in the places he cleaned, cooling her skin. She didn't like the chill, so she kept dirt in her fur to use as an insulator. Even if he was a friend of hers, she didn't like being cleaned. She didn't ever answer why she usually laid on the dirt and liked getting muddy. Her fur was too pretty to dirty up though. Part of rolling in the dirt was because she didn't want to be white. She wanted to be brown and blend better in the trees.
"Why do you do this to me? What do you want from me, you cruel critter?" She asked, looking at him from upside down. Her eyes here half closed at waking up to a startling attack. "What's your motive, you birdface?" Her voice was cool and pretty, but the tone in her voice showed she huffing and puffing. Her blood was rushing from the assault.

Tokee laughed and giggled, just about falling to the floor from laughter, when another familiar friend came in. Tokee turned sharply, quieting down a bit, before giving the Squirrel a friendly smile. "Hey there Cookie. Feeling nutty today?" He giggled a bit, he was in a pretty dilly mood for it being so late.
Cookie was surprised to find that it was only Tokee, she was screaming as if she was maliciously being attack. But it only took him a moment to realize why. "Were you giving her a bath again?" He questioned, sitting down between the two.
The little songbird nodded, keeping his smile as h moved to beside Cookie, " Are you here visiting family Cookie?" Tokee questioned, moving to beside the 'Though nut'.
Cookie only nodded, not looking back up at the bird. He was always nervous whenever he came here to visit his parents, being that they didn't get along too well.

Her long ears stretched out above her head, listening in to the males' conversation. Her nose wrinkled in disgust and delight that the squirrel and the songbird entered her home without permission and the fact she wasn't being clean right now. She sighs out long and soft, then fluttered to the floor of her home.
"I hate to sound rude, but I was asleep when a little critter woke me up. I'm much to tired for this. Could you both come back at a later time?" She asked carefully and hopefully, wanting them to get out. She had a feeling they wouldn't go.

Tokee perked up, looking at Qwop then frowned slowly and nodded. " Of course... .We'll leave...." It'd been a LONG time sense he had seen her, sense they were on different sleeping schedules. But, even if he was disappointed, he turned and began hopping out of her den.
Cookie watched Tokee, then turned towards her and stood, " Yes, I just thought you were in trouble anyways." He too turned, and began his way out of the Den in the tree.

A sigh escaped the bat's mouth as she peered up at Tokee. "Alright, you two can stay." She spoke softly to Tokee. She hadn't seen him in a long while, but she didn't like being bathed. Any other way of waking her up would have pleased her dearly.
"Come, sit." She patted the ground next to her as she sat down gently. Qwop looked at Tokee when she invited them to sit. Cookie's place wan't beside her, in her opinion. Her ears bounced with delight at having Tokee stay and chat with her. It's been a long time, the more she realized the more she felt bad about trying to kick them out. She continued to pa the spot next to her.
