Some guild captains avoid the issue, some meet it head on, and some just don't care. I however took a wait and see approach to a policy on both internal and external guild related strife, and it would appear that I have seen and I will speak on it for the whole guild, as I have already discussed this with the crew.

We are a public guild, which has always been at the core of my intention of starting the Templars. As such, non members have the ability to post new threads and respond to existing ones. Thus members have special privileges like badges.

Myself and the crew have maintained a strict selection process for members and we have built an impressive membership in my opinion. I trust most of you implicitly and have a healthy respect for those I do not know that well. With that said, the Templar rules of engagement are more for the benefit of visitors than members.

VISITOR RULES

If you are a visitor to the AMC Templars, you must behave in a mature and respectable manner. Failure to do so will result in the editing or deleting of your posts at the discretion of the crew. TOS violations, or repeated behavior that merits post editing/deleting by the crew will result in shitlisting. If you are placed on the shitlist, you are barred from ever receiving member status and any posts made in the guild proper will be deleted on sight. The AMC Templars uphold a zero tolerance flaming policy, post at your own risk.

MEMBER RULES

Within the guild proper, members are advised not to respond to trolling, flaming, or other belligerant activities by visitors (or other members in the very unlikely event). Instead, members should wait for crew intervention. TOS violations should be brought to the attention of both the crew and Gaia moderators immediately. Failure to do so jeopardizes the guild as a whole as spelled out in Gaia's guild policy.

OVERSIGHT

If you feel that you have been unfairly treated by a crew member, contact me directly. However, whining, threatening, and spamming will not be looked upon kindly.

INTER-GUILD RELATIONS

The AMC Templars do not engage in inter-guild warfare of any kind. Members may not harass/flame/troll or otherwise behave aggressively towards other guilds with the support or consent of the guild or me.

Furthermore the AMC Templars do not respond to guild warfare or guild sponsored terrorism. However the ANBU wing of the Templars will conduct investigations into attacks made against the guild and will respond through the appropriate channels.

I personally encourage visitors with personal issues involving a member of the guild to resolve it in private for their own sake. We are a collection of individuals, not a collective.
