 Arthur Knightly or Art to his friends looked over the land in boredom. Sometimes guarding at the castle could be quite dull, especially when others were off having fun. Pouting Arthur looked away from the outter gates to look upon the hussel and bussel of the marketplace in the middle of the kingdom.
' I could be practicing my left handed swing right about now if Harold hadn't switched duties.' Just thinking about what had happened made Arthur scowl.

Oblivion yawned and rolled his eyes as he strolled along just enjoying the fresh air and freedom. He hated being cooped up in that stuffy room all the time. So it was nice to slip away once in awhile. Of course he'd have to deal with the consequences afterword, but that was a risk he was willing to take. He let his feet guide him down the path, not really watching where he was going or where he had been.

 It was a perfectly bright and shiny day for Aurella, but then again that was how most days started for her. Her morning was spent as it was more often than not, with a nice breakfast followed by a quick playing session with Dhaval. Then she checked who was on guard duty that particular day - as each of her guards had different ideas about what was acceptable for her to spend her time doing.
She could get away with almost anything when Charlie was guarding her, but James considered almost all of her favorite activities to be "inappropriate for one of her status." Whatever that meant.
She couldn't contain her eagerness when she realized Arthur was on duty - he was still relatively new and he hadn't gotten a feel for him as a guard yet. But she was certain they'd got along just fine - she got along with everyone! This thought urged her forward, causing her to skip rather happily in the direction of the front door. She knew just what she was going to do today!
As soon as she spotted Arthur, she moved over and affectionately attached herself to one arm. Big baby blue eyes blinked up at him with an innocence that didn't belong on such a mature face, and a fluffy white tail wiggled happily behind her.
"Arthuuuuuur? Can we go to the market today? Pleeeeeease?"

Arthur had been looking the opposite way and didn't notice either royal heading his way. A cold chill ran down his spine, but he ignored thinking it was the change in weather. Poor Arthur he should have listened to his gut, for it was a few minutes later he was tackled and glomped onto. Turning quickly, he raised his slightly sword to attack but blinked in shock. " Y-your highness!" Arthur looked beyond Queen Aurella to see King Oblivion. Bowing and looking downward he continued, " I would journey with you to the marketplace but I am on duty currently. As soon as Harold gets back at noon-hour, I am off duty." Rising Arthur nodded towards his King in acknowledgement. " Good day Majesty."
If physical sweatdrops were possible, one would be displayed on his helmet. Arthur took in the site of his Queen, who was practically in his face. Sometimes... it was hard to believe Aurella was an adult and the ruler of his country.

Oblivion tipped his head in greeting and grinned. "Good morning. As usual you seem to have done a bang up job of terrifying the poor guards Aurella." His grin grew and he reached up to push some hair from his eyes. "Good luck with telling her no. She's a very persuasive one..." While he hadn't had much time spent with the young Queen, he had heard endless complaints about her immaturity. Personally he liked the woman. She knew how to enjoy life and manipulate the people around her to get her way.

"Oh come on, Arthur! It would be fine if you just left for a little while! And it's boooring in the castle when no one's around!" Aurella insisted, her ears falling down against her head. She was an expert at theatrics, and it didn't take her her very long to rather expertly wobble her bottom lip and work up fake tears in her eyes. She could have easily kept up the pathetic look all day if she'd wanted to; luckily for Arthur the young royal was exceptionally easily distracted.
The second he greeted Oblivion, the pout vanished from her face. Her eyes brightened and she whirled around to affectionately squeeze her fellow royal around the torso, tail wagging behind her. It felt like it had been forever since she'd seen him, and all thoughts of going to the marketplace had been effectively chased out of her mind with his appearance.
"Oh Red! I'm so happy to see you! It's so boring here today and no one's visited me in ages!"

Arthur suddenly found himself at the end of an ultimate sad face. Sweat started to form down his back as he nervous took in the Queens sadness. On one hand he had his duty but on the other hand this WAS the Queen. Letting out a quiet sigh of relief he realized the Queen was distracted by the King. Standing up straight he almost smiled a little as he watched the two royals interacted. Movement caught his eye to the right causing him tense. He let his hand hover over his sword before relaxing when he saw another guard that was coming to relieve him of his duty.
" Richard," Arthur greeted the older guard and let him know how the morning went. " Quiet morning, no attacks or suspicious behavior." Richard, a quiet man, just nodded and went to stand into position. Nodding Arthur turned back to the royal family and if it were possible he would have sweatdropped. The royal's were scawbling... well the Queen seemed to be, the King just stood and stared acknowledging the others presences every once in a while. Looking at the door, Arthur was almost tempted to leave quietly but it wasn't in his nature to do that.
" Majesties? It would seem I'm avaible for that walk or adventure. "
