Kesshou looked to Elasa. "Come on, I'm gonna help you so, can you help us?" She said as she trotted through the open portal, raising her forcefield.

Conner shook his head and looked around to see that Nightshade had already opened a portal.
"What was that?"
Telepathy, huh? He wasn't a stranger to it, but he was pretty sure he had never heard that particular voice before. Kon turned back to Batgirl, Songbird and Agent Quinn. He didn't like the sound of the mental broadcast that he and clearly the teams around him had recieved.

[Austin, Texas facility]
In a flash of light Night Shadow appeared on one of the upper levels of S.T.A.R. Lab. He pressed a button on his belt, before glancing around the area. The floor he currently was on, was empty this time of day. So far everything was going to plan.
The floor he was on consisted of a small area with desks and computers that could access the labs main frame, receiving any information he desired. The other area was a lab, surrounded by glass, with all of the objects he desired.
Night Shadow had to move fast if he was going to finish his plan without any interference. Using his acrobatic skills, he flipped over the desks until he landed directly in front of one of the computers. Pulling out his very own flash drive, he plugged it directly into the computer, pulling up all of his files. Searching through his data that he gathered over the past few months, then combining it with the data of S.T.A.R. labs he finished his month long plan.
Leaping over the desks once more, he entered the lab area. Glancing around he spotted the correct materials he needed. Moving around the lab, he grabbed everything he needed, moving back to a clear spot he started setting everything up. Pouring together the liquids, shaking, and stirring them. He began his efforts to copy a superhuman ability.

(Zauviir, I know you didn't realize it, but this StarLabs facility was firebombed with high energy plasma (another villain). If Night Shadow was observing what was going on, he could have hijacked a federal van holding the info and materials salvaged from the site. Just rewrite it appropriately, and you should be good -- very possibly avoiding most if not all at the scene. Of course, not everything goes according to plan....)
Nightshade answered Superboy's question, "That was Professor Xavier. He's an extraordinary powerful telepath. I think something has gone wrong back at the Institute."

Superboy frowned and scrunched his brow.
"Well... what'da we do from here?"
He crossed his arms and looked around the team. As much as it pained him to think it, this was quickly turning into a dead end. If Quinn really was telling the truth like he picked up, then Raven was alive... and she had killed three agents in getting Starfire out of here?... in any case, Star was safe now. Conner looked over at the secured agent... he still had the strong urge to give Quinn a nice direct punch to the face.

Rogue leaned up against Konner and shrugged, looking up at him, "Well... Tha Prof said something was happenin back at the Institute. Wanna help?"

Kon turned his head to look at Rogue. His body tensed up a bit... it was much easier for him when he was clueless about her crush.
"Uh- ...yeah. Let's do that- help at the institute."
Superboy looked back up at the portal, then to Garfield... he was kind of waiting for Gar to say something about it- even if the Titans had been out of commission for several months, that didn't take Beast Boy's leader roll away from him.

Nightcrawler perked up after hearing Xaviers voice.
"I Vould like to help."
He looked around at the others as he walked over to Nightshade.
Scott stopped as well and looked at Beast Boy.
"Beast boy, Your friend? Do you need help?"
Beast boy stopped hearing what had happened. He knew that Star in any situation could handle herself. And if what Quinn said was true, then she was already out. He paused thinking for a moment on what to do. He turned and walked back to the group with a dissapointed look on his face. He took another long pause before responding.
"Star, is a friend and can handle herself, but... The institute needs out help right now."
He walked over to Quinn with a growl.
"If you have Star I will be back, and for your sake I hope that what you've said about her escaping is the truth."
He said to him sternly, almost threateningly.
"Okay... So I'm heading back. And..."
He walked up to Gar.
"We will find your friend. Another time."
He stated walking up to Nightshade.

Nightshade motioned toward his new portal like a ringmaster displaying a new act, "Your portal is waiting."

That was decided then. Conner turned to Nightshade and looked at the others before he took a running start for the portal.
(Exit Superboy/Kon-el to the Xavier's Institute) A transission came in for Nightshade. The background noise of the call was loud with the overwhelming sounds of traffic, but Tim's voice piped through, quick and urgent.
"Nightshade, it's Robin. Is it alright if I could get a portal to the Institute?"

As Nightshade complied as soon as he triangulated where Robin was at that moment, "You got it, Robin. You should see it just ahead of you."
Rogue flew after Konner through Des' portal, "Comin Kansas!"
Jinx just handed Quinn over to the Central City authorities, "Thanks fellas." Then 'Batgirl' went through the portal.
Songbird walked up to Beast Boy and Cyclops, "Do you guys need a hand?"
[Exit Rogue and Jinx to Xavier's Institute]

Beast boy quickly transformed into a Hawk flying through the portal without another word. He didn't even nodd to Scott's comment about finding star
Scott ran through the portal right next to Kurt to the institute. Ignoring Beast boy's tension about finding his friend.

Night Shadow smiled as the last bit of the liquid dropped in a beaker. Picking the beaker up carefully, he swirled the contents around inside. Hopefully his study and hard work paid off, but there was only one way to be sure.
Setting the beaker down he picked up a scalpel from a nearby table. Holding his arm out, he carefully slit his arm just enough for blood to rush out. Not even wincing from the pain, he placed the scalpel back on the table and grabbed the beaker. With the tilt of his hand, he let a single drop fall onto his wound. What happened next was nothing less than miracle. The wound quickly healed, as if he possessed rapid healing.
Night Shadow smiled as his experiment worked, he had created a healing potion. He had little time to celebrate though as he heard someone moving up the stairway. Night Shadow's breath caught in his throat as he quickly injected the liquid into 10 needles and a small test tube. Pulling out a small carrying case, he placed the needles and test tube inside carefully before replacing the case in one of his pockets.
Turning to the door he watched as the handle turned slowly. With quick speed he reached to his belt and activated his teleporter. Then with a flash, he vanished. The entering guard had no clue he was ever in the building.

Melissa gold felt the cold chill of Nightshade's portal as she approached it and shuddered as if something walked over her grave, "Well... Here goes nothing."
Just behind Songbird, Nightshade himself walked through and the portal vanished.
