It's my goal for the end of this season, on both sabre AND rifle.
This will be my third season, and I can toss a solid 5 on Rifle and a solid 4 on Sabre (Blade, 3 on Hilt).
Any advice? Please and Thank you. ^ - ^

Well, I can inconsistently toss a quad on rifle, and I can do solid triples on blade and hilt. However, our weapons tech had me throwing sixes on rifle with the weapon line. The most important thing is to push your envelope. Work on sixes and sevens a lot, and ask some of the better or more experienced members to watch and see how you do.

well i've heard that once you get 5s down, higher gets easier. idk about your guard's technique, but in ours, we don't "full-dip" (dipping straight up and down instead of at an angle) until 6s. but maybe if you tried that, just to get it around to begin with, then try to do it normally...
idk why, but it helps if you squeeze the rifle (or sabre) right before you release (i actually basically regrip right before i toss...bad technique, but no one's said anything haha)
one more random trick that works but idk why, if you only need a bit more rotation, try doing like 5 pushups, then get up and toss. don't ask me why...maybe its adrenaline or something...
haha even though i haven't tossed a 5 on rifle in a year and a half, and can't do blade tosses on sabre to save my life (if you have any advice on those...?) i can do hilt tosses...usually....never tried higher than a 5 haha

I find higher hilt tosses on the sabre than higher tosses on the rifle. I can do a 4 on the rifle, but I can do a soild 6 on my sabre.
