gaia_crown [ YOU ARE A MINIPET ]: Unfortunately for you, in addition to being in entirely unfamiliar yet oddly colourful lands, you are a freaking minipet. Like in the Fear and everything. aWhile students and Horsemen might have suffered these consequences before (see the Alpaca incident), for Hunters, this is something of a new sensation: in fact, they cannot summon their weapons at all, any less than students or horsemen can use their Fear attacks. No, they are EXACTLY, other than a few physical quirks here and there distinguishing themselves from what they SORT OF looked like, a minipet. And there is only one way a minipet fights: by battling. With moves.
- You can choose ANY MINIPET existing on site to be your character as a minipet. You CANNOT choose SE's that do not belong to you, "joke" pets, OR rare elites. Your minipet will NOT evolve so choose a stage carefully.

gaia_crown [ ENROLLED CHARACTER ONLY: MINIPET BATTLING, CHOOSING AN ELEMENT ]: Minipets actually can talk in their own language! They probably sound REMOTELY like their former selves, REMOTELY, though its probably at this point really hard to tell friend from foe. And what does it even matter who is what if they cannot escape from being a minipet?
- To initiate any battle, simple QUOTE YOUR TARGET and roll 1d4. That is pretty much the damage you to your opponent. ALL CHARACTERS HAVE 30 HP. PS: You kind of suck because you're level 1.
- You must also choose an ELEMENTAL ALIGNMENT for your minipet character self. Each ELEMENTAL ALIGNMENT HAS A BONUS:
Light: - Once per battle you can roll 2d4 to heal yourself
Dark: - Once per battle you can use your special attack, rolling 1d6. This is the damage you to do your opponent, and the amount you heal yourself.
Water: - Once per battle you may roll 1d6. If you successfully roll a 1 or 6, you freeze your opponent for two turns and you get TWO extra turns.
Fire: - Once per battle you may roll 1d6. This the amount of EXTRA BURN DAMAGE you to do your opponent for TWO TURNS.
Grass: - Once per battle you may activate your SPECIAL EFFECT and CONFUSE your opponent. The next damage your opponent does hits THEMSELVES instead!
Normal: - Once per battle, you may roll 2d4 as a special attack you do to your opponent.

gaia_crown [ ENROLLED CHARACTER ONLY: MINIPET BATTLING: Elemental Weaknesses ]: All minipets have an ELEMENTAL WEAKNESS (other than normal). Please note them and calculate the mechanics accordingly.
LIGHT MINIPETS ARE WEAK AGAINST LIGHT MINIPETS. They take 2x damage from light attacks. That means if you are a light and you attack another light minipet, you do x2 damage to your FINAL damage for that turn for each turn you attack them.
DARK MINIPETS get a +1 damage modifier for all damage they do
NORMAL MINIPETS have NO weaknesses
GRASS MINIPETS: ARE WEAK AGAINST FIRE MINIPETS. They take 2x damage from fire minipets
FIRE MINIPETS: ARE WEAK AGAINST WATER MINIPETS. They take 2x damage from water minipets
WATER MINIPETS: ARE WEAK AGAINST GRASS MINPETS. They take 2x damage from Grass minipets.

gaia_crown [ ENROLLED CHARACTER ONLY: MINIPET BATTLING: How two Battle ]:
- To initiate a battle simply QUOTE YOUR TARGET. You can only attack one target at a time. You get THREE ATTACKS PER IC 24 HOURS TO USE AS YOU PLEASE. That means yes, you could attack target A, B and then C and piss them all off, and then have to wait until 12:00 am PST RESET TIME to attack again.
- A special attack move also counts as one turn and takes up your normal 1d4 melee battle phase
- After quoting your target, either use your special attack (see above)
or proceed to a melee attack. Please note that you can only use your special attack once per IC 24 hours until the 12:00 am PST RESET TIME.
- In the quote to your target please post the damage you to do them so they know!
- AT the bottom of your post also post: Your minipet's current HP, your minipet's ELEMENT (unchangeable once you choose one), number of turns your minipet has used


gaia_crown [ ENROLLED CHARACTER ONLY: MINIPET BATTLING: BOSSES ]:
- Occasionally a BOSS minipet will appear and attack everyone in the zone! They need to be taken out before you take them out! Boss minipets also have different ELEMENTS so calculate the damage accordingly! Boss minipet mechanics override the general battle rules, so make sure to read those (ie: if you already pvped 3 times an attack turn, you can still attack the boss, with the boss rules)

gaia_crown [ ENROLLED CHARACTER ONLY: General RP mechanics ]:
- If your minipet PASSES OUT, they return to the starting zone, wherever they arrived at first with full health. It's rather magical, really!
- Even if you are not battling, please quote people you are talking to
- Please post at the bottom of EVERY OF YOUR POSTS even if not battling your minipet's HP, THE NAME OF YOUR CHARACTER, which faction they are, WHAT KIND OF MINIPET THEY ARE (an image would be great), and what ELEMENT they are. Please also note at the TOP OF YOUR POST the place you are at (ie: Main HQ, Adventure Dome, etc etc), you can exit and enter places as you please.
- Of course, you can only interact with people who are in the same AREA of the starting zone as you are (see below), this includes for battling.
- Have fun and good luck! It'll be interesting getting out of this one.... if only you had a clue of what to do! (Psstttt hint: be wary of gm posts)

MINIPET POWERS AND YOU:

Lets be blunt here:

Minipets do not get special powers here. Unless it includes natural stuff, such as swimming, floating, or being very exceptionally good in trafficking illegal goods. They do not have FEAR abilities, there is no such thing as Minipet Fear.

Getting into a fight: Outside of sanctioned (GMed) events, if two faction members or a group get into an ORP/PRP fight, they must discuss with each other the outcomes. It can go both ways, all participants should find a way to keep it fair, have them flee, keep it a stalemate, drag one's body out for Follyjox Roast, as long as you have permissions from the other person.

Getting along: Outside AND within factions, you can also form your own friends and TEAMS. Minipets do not need factions to form their own little explorer kind of teams, to prevent being ganged or bullied on. Even if people are having their own little pow wow (PRP), who knows what is lurking out there waiting for them (IE: GM INTERVENTION CAN HAPPEN AT ALL TIMES KIDDOS)

GM intervention: Sometimes, a hostile minipet will try and fight yours even within private rps! You will have to try to fend them off - simply obey the dice rules and do what you can! If you are hurt you will end up back in The Friendly Forest all bandaged up, so be careful where you are traveling!


MINIPETS AND THEIR CLASSIFICATIONS


ALL MINIPETS ARE INTELLIGENT. Somewhat This can really vary from minipet to minipet, there are as equal intelligent Follyjoxes as there are Pirate Lepuses, for example.

MY MINIPET IS BETTER THAN YOURS No, not its really not. Even RARE ELITE minipets do not get special powers, the only difference is that they are very unique in their species. It's like having a holofoil pokemon card, it is shiny, it is unique.

COMMON VS RARE VS SPECIAL EDITION? There is no discrimination. All minipets are EQUAL when it comes across this playing board rp wise. They are not wiser or more powerful when it comes to rarities playing across. Are they more elusive if they are rare? Most likely!

BUT WHERE DID WE COME FROM? Ahh.. the most general question. Your master is giving you an ah, well deserved break. So welcome to the other side of the closet, you poor sod. Think of it kind of like the Digital World
