 Cathedral of Serpents
This Cathedral was created during the founding of Kumogakure, by a wealthy Merchant. It Serves as a home For all Naga, reguardless of village affiliation, or crimes ( Unless against the Naga bloodline itself ) and also as a meeting area for the bloodline members so as not to burden the Bloodline head. The Cathedral has large murals of the Bloodline's history up on the walls, and a portrait of the current bloodline head hanging in the cathedral, behind the altar. The walls have empty spaces inside of the murals where there hangs the portraits of the deceased Bloodline heads, and occasionally their family. The Cathedral is left to only members of the Naga bloodline to take care of, never an outsider. The murals on the walls depict the Bloodline's history, as well as the current Head's history. Also in the back of the cathedral through the door that regularly would lead to the Priest's chambers, there is a scribery where a Scribe ( Normally the wife, daughter, mother, or sister of the Cathedral Caretaker ) notes down all of the changes in the current Head of the Bloodline, and archives it all, so that if the Nagas were ever to need it they could refer to them for accurate accounts.
Current Bloodline Head: Zin Naga ( Alive | Konohagakure | Nagi / Hitan ) Late Bloodline Head: Orochimaru Naga ( Presumed Deceased | Remains never recovered | Unknown | Unknown )
Current Cathedral Caretaker: Naga-Sonji , Ryuuji ( Alive | Kumogakure | Kami-naga ) Late Cathedral Caretaker: Naga-Sonji , Kanaza ( Deceased | Entombed | Kumogakure | Kami )
Current Cathedral Scribe: Naga-Sonji , Kitania ( Alive | Kumogakure | Lilith ) Late Cathedral Scribe: Naga-Sonji , Kithana ( Deceased | Entombed | Kumogakure | Naga )

((ooc: "It Serves as a home For all Naga, reguardless of village affiliation, or crimes" so does this mean someone could break into kumo, murder several of the villagers and then go hang out at the village cathedral safely?))

( No, Crimes against Kumogakure will be dealt with. As well as any crimes the Bloodline head deems unforgivable. But yeah, if they murdered someone ELSES villagers they could come here and be protected. But really it isn't very likely a Naga wuld do something like that seeing as there are only three Rpc Naga. )

A young boy rolled around on a bed, a deep red blanket covering his body. A white line moving across it in a lazy manner. The boy was pale, and had strikingly white hair. He wore pajamas made of a fine cloth. Not expensive looking, but fine none the less. his pajamas were embroidered with images of snakes, ranging from large snakes to even the small worm snake. Each snake was in great detail, and every one was made of different colored thread. The pajamas themselves were black. On the top around the chest area was the image of a white snake, an Albino snake to be exact. It had diamond shaped markings on it's back, and small red eyes. The white line that lay on the red blanket moved lazily toward the boy's face, and rose up high almost to the tip of it's tail. Then suddenly it dropped, not striking the boy, but thumping his chest in a manner as to wake him up. the boy jerked, startling the Snake who jerked a split second after the boy and let out a low hiss, then shaking it's head dismissing the thought. The boy sat up and blinked lazily, rubbing his eyes. he opened his eyes fully and yawned, his eyes a striking yellow with black slits in the middle where his pupils should be. The boy sighed and placed his hand on his snake, smiling. The boy opened his mouth but no words came out, almost as if the boy were whispering so lightly that it wasn't able to be heard. The snake hissed appreciativly and closed it's eyes, looking quite happy as it was being pet by it's owner. The boy smiled. " Thanks for the Wake up call necrosis. " He said smiling and lowering his head to kiss his companion on the top of it's head. " Come, let's both get ready to go to the Hot springs to clean up. " He said stretching and standing up. his snake hissing slightly and slithering off his lap. " Hmmm... Do you think I should do some renevating in this room? " He said, pointing to the barren stone grey walls. " Not to mention the fact if anything I should have the walls leveled and painted. And replace those god awful torches with something a bit nicer looking, wouldn't you agree? " He said, lowering his right arm for his snake to slither up as he raised his left to touch the rough jagged surface of the walls. " anyway, we should go now. " He said smiling, looking at his righ shoulder where his snake's head sat.
The boy walked out into a hallway which looked nothing like the rough medeval room he had just been inside of. There were ornate murals upon the walls, along with bas relief sculptures which were underneath the paintings in a manner as to make them seem to jump off the wall and come alive. Each and every imaginable detail was used, color, tint, shade, value, texture, feel, even smell. The boy ran his hand along the wall, feeling all of the scales and all of the features of the people in the murals. As he did so he muttered the names ofthe snakes, of the people, of the event, even the dates that they happened. He paused for a second and looked up, slightly above his head and smiled. " Something like those would work just fine, wouldn't you say Necrosis? " The boy said, pointing at the candle holsters up on the walls, all of which were lit. The candle holsters were odd in a sense that they were shaped like a snake's head, they were made of bronze to simulate how most snakes encountered have a brownish color. Then it had gold inlay showing off multiple designs. Then it's fangs which held the candle in place were a bright sterling silver. The scales were prominently shown on the candle holsters. " We could make it a mixture of Platinum and Sterling Silver. Or any other precious minerals you would want for your likeness. " The boy said, raising his right hand and stroking the snake's neck. the snake hissed appreciativly like before. The boy turned slowly and walked into a lavatory.
The boy smiled and opened a wooden case, which hung on the wall. He brought from the case a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, a cup, and even a mechanism that was shaped like a fang. The boy picked up his toothbrush and ran it under some warm water, and put the paste on it. He swung it slowly under the slow flowing water and brought it up to his mouth. He opened his mouth, revealing pearly white teeth. But most surprisingly it also revealed his tounge. it was split in two for a good inch or so, much like a snake's if it were as long as his own. The boy began to brush and soon all his teeth and even his tounge was lost in white foam, the only objects in his mouth showing were his obscenely large canines which instead of mirroring a dog's teeth they much matched a snakes. They were longer than anyone not from the Naga bloodline's canines were, and they were far sharper. After finishing his brushing the boy took the mouthwash and poured some into his mouth and swirled it around for a good minute, minute and a half. The boy spat out the foam of the toothpase and the liquid from the mouthwash, sighing in relief. The boy then washed off his toothbrush and smiled at the mirror. He then picked up the mechanism and turned a few knobs on it, testing it on his right fang each time, taking it off and readjusting it. He did that for a good minute or two and smiled, having finally gotten the right setting. he pushed it onto his fang slowly, a grating noise easily audible to anyone standing nearby. when he took it off his fang had gotten a tad bit smaller, but far sharper, sharp enough he barely placed his thumb on it before it punctured his thumb. He repeated the process with his left fang, however he didn't need to reset it this time. After he had sharpened both of his fangs he placed everything back into the case on the wall and sighed a sigh of relief. He turned and walked out the door, holding onto a miniature toothbrush.
The boy re-entered the hallway and turned, heading back to his sleeping quarters it would seem, except he turned slightly before it, and entered a room that held only a wardrobe. The wardrobe was easily seven feet tall, and easily once and a half as wide. The Boy smiled and looked upon the wardrobe, in all it's glory. Much like the hallway it showed Nagas with their snakes, he rn his hand along many of the images until his hands reached the two knobs next to eachother. They were both renderings of the Bothrops Asper, his own snake companion. He smiled and tilted his head to the right kissing his snake partner's body out of the side of his mouth. He smiled and opened both of the doors. He looked inside the wardrobe for a little while. There were many, mant different colored clothing, but he decided on a somewhat tight black shirt and tight pants. He then selected a jacket which the hood and the zipper's lining was lined with a black fur. The boy undressed to his underwear and quickly redressed into his chosen outfit. He then selected a pair of glossy boots, which looked like they could be used for either formal attire, or even combat. He smiled as he tied the laces together. He stood up and looked at the closet, seeming to think about something else. He decides to not go through with whatever it was he had been thinking and shrugs, closing the doors softly. The boy turned curtly and wandered back to the Lavatory quickly. He grabbed a wooden pail and some shower items, along with a scruber and a wash rag. Then the boy turned and walked quickly into the Cathedral's main chapel.
Warm hazy light floated softly through the chapel's high side windows, casing rectangles of light with an arched top. It was easy to tell that this cathedral used vaulted windows by how the arches on the top ended in dull points. The back of the chapel had an Altar, equiped with Snake decore, and even two twin snake crosses, three snakes, two of which wind around the first which is stanging straight up, holding a small cup in it's mouth which held oil and was always lit. The other two faced the front after branching off to either side, similarly having a cup of oil in their mouth, which had a lid upon it and a wick sticking out slightly, making the flames much smaller than the top snake's. Behind that there was a giant stained glass window telling of Orochimaru's heroics. Most people disagreed with the Naga belief that he was in fact, a great man. But the Naga had come to accept that they were on the side where it turned to heroics instead of meaningless slaughter and evil. The boy looked at the light filtering to the altar, which held grand hues of almost every color imaginable. The boy turned to leave the Cathedral when a girl, who shared only the eyes and skin of The boy placed her hand on his shoulder, opposite Necrosis.
" Ryuuji, about time you woke up! Get to the hot springs and bathe yourself. Then report to the academy. Today is the day you are to attend and graduate. " The woman said, much taller than the boy. She wore glasses and a white blouse and a black skirt. Her hair was black and tied back into a bun, two rods sticking out in a traditional japanese fashion. " and how is little Necrosis today? " The woman asked, taking her hand off of Ryuuji's shoulder and scratching under the hissing snake's chin.
" I know Sister, I know... And quite calling me Ryuuji, you know I prefer Sonji. " Sonji said, sighing looking at his snake out of the corner of his eye. ' Traitor! ' He thought in his head, glaring at his snake, then looking back to his sister. " And when are you going to dress your age? You are only nineteen! " He said sighing, looking at his seven year senior sister.
" I'll dress how I want to Mr. Ryuuji. " His siste said tauntingly, finished scratching the snake's chin and turning her younger brother around she began pushing him toward the door to the Cathedral, a Worm snake the size of a Boa slithering up to one and opening it. " Ta-ta! " She said antagonizingly as she pushed him out the door, a worm snake slithering off her hand and into Sonji's coat. After shutting the door she turned and produced a pen and opened the book. " Graduation day... " She said placing her pen in her mouth and petting the giant beyond all comparison worm snake.
