Water
i gasp for breath,
for air,
for life
but instead my lungs drown.
in the teachings you force upon me.
the water,
burning my lungs,
burning the knowledge into my soul.
that liquid so dark, so tainted.
you cover it up with dyes and paints.
you fool the innocents eyes with pretty colors
but not mines.
never mines
that liquid the water
i can taste the the truth.
i can taste the lies
youre drowning me in lies
in false truths
in false hope
you drown every innocents of me
with your water
you dont even see that the water
drowns me
blinds me
kills me
but you cant since this happened to you
that liquid blinded you
changed you
controls you
you now think that its right
that the water's knowledge is right
that its good that it will be my salvation
but its not
it never will be
and yet you ask "Care for another drink?"
Miss you
Do you remember?
how you would tell me about the stars
how you would play with me
how you would read me stories
Do you remember?
when i was new to school
that you held me when things was scary
but conviced me that i will be fine
Do you remember?
that it was winter
that you and mom yelled
that you left that night
Do you see now?
why i dress this way
why i avoid you
why we argue when we meet
why did you leave?
i miss you
mom misses you
do you miss us?
...will you come home?

LacrymosaVampiress22 Waterwow... im a bit suprised.. i liked both of your poems.. but to tell the truth i was confused with the first poem.. the ending helped me a little.. razz
