I have decided that I should not lower myself for a guy.
My body is God's temple so why would I want to do something with it that God doesn't want me to.
God has a man that will be my husband and he is the one I will wait for.
God tells us that sex is to be saved for marriage, it's a very special experence. Once you have sex you are no longer one person, the two become one, you and your partner.

Matthew 19:5-6 Jesus talks about this,and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not seperate"

Purity from unclean behavior is not just sex but any harmful temptation like smoking, drinking, swearing, crued jokes, and bad thoughts.

Matthew 5:8 says, Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.


If God is within me as the Holy Spirit I must honor my body by keeping it pure as God wants it .

1 Corinthiains 6:17-20 says, But the person who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.Run away from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.Or don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

This tells us that God loved us much to send His Son, Jesus to die in order to free us from sin and have a relationship with us, to be with us. He wants to protect us from sin that will destroy us.

I have pledged to be pure for myself and my future husband.
If you know me personally you will notice a new peice of jewlery on my left ring finger. My purity ring, it says Purity and Matt. 5:8 it also has a cross with a crystal in the middle. If you want to learn anything more about being pure or my purity pledge just PM me.

PS It's never too late to make the pledge to be pure even if you've had sex, God will forgive and clean you of your guilt and sins if you ask!
