Naturally, the 12th Division is full of talented individuals- young and old alike- who have a penchant for inventing many diverse items, drugs, poisons, serums, etc to aid them in battle or simply as results of their painstaking research.
This thread is used to document and archive all inventions by any and all members after they have been approved by the Captain. Please post all of your RPC's inventions in this thread; one post person please.

☣ Hakase Tsukiko's Inventions ☣ Developed for 12th Division Research and BattleQuote: Items
Tenshintai (転神体, Change [Death] God Body) This item is a vaguely human-shaped, man-sized doll, but it is colored inversely to the sister invention, Tenshintai. The item is a vaguely human-shaped, man-sized doll used to forcibly materialize the spirit of a Zanpakutō into the real world when stabbed by the Zanpakutō. In doing so, the user can subjugate the spirit and attain the Bankai of their Zanpakutō. The materialization lasts for about three days, after which the spirit reverts back into the doll that spawned it. Without this invention, achieving the Bankai takes at least ten years, not to mention the many years of combat experience needed. This method, however, is very dangerous due to the fact that it forcibly materializes the Zanpakutō's spirit. If used more than three times consecutively, it is possibly fatal to the user.
Mukeihenkanki (無形変換器, Spiritual Converters) The rings that Tsukiko wears are specifically built to absorb the bulk of her Reiryoku within them. Once these earrings are removed, the Reiryoku returns to her instantly. If the earrings are not removed for an extended period of time, they will convert the sealed Reiryoku into Reishi and release it into the environment. They are also able to rapidly absorb Hadō up to #70 and convert it into Reishi and release into the environment, and can function to change a physical object into a spiritual one, and vice versa, but converting Reishi into their Human World equivalent, Kishi.
Tōkaikoromo (韜晦衣 Self-concealment Garment) The Tōkaikoromo is actually Tsukiko's Haori in disguise, and it emits a special wave that disrupts the ability to sense Reiryoku and the Arrancar's Pesquisa, and hides the wearer's Reiraku as well. Due to the properties of this haori, if effectively allows the wearer to sneak around without being found through the traditional sensing methods of the Shinigami and Arrancar. It hides the wearers Reiryoku even while he or she is using Reiatsu, simply cutting the feel away from the source.
Stat Enhancements: Turns the user's Reiatsu Pressure into 0 while being worn. Kukanshimari Menuribō (区間閉まり 目塗り棒, Dimension-Closing Sealing-Rod) A half-foot, cylindrical and mechanical rod with a steel casing to protect it's insides. By filling the rod with Reiryoku, it opens up at the middle, revealing a small button and an array of glowing green lines. When the button is pressed, the rod closes back up and releases a hypersonic wave that prevents the use of Garganta in an area of several miles from the capsule's origin of detonation, and goes so far as to affect the ability to create dimensional rifts through other techniques. It lasts for quite a while, typically a couple of hours before the ability can return. Drugs, Poisons, and Serums
Hojiku-Zai (補肉剤, Flesh-mending Drug) A green chemical that is kept in a flattened plastic tube with a syringe at it's tip. Hojiku-Zai acts exactly in the same manner as High-Speed Regeneration by regenerating wounds upon injection. It acts very quickly, regrowing limbs in an instant, but it has a side effect of causing intense pain while it occurs. It is capable of working on smaller wounds as well, causing less pain in these instances. The serum has to be derived from the intended user's blood, and is therefore useless on someone else other than the intended user.
Serushijakki-Zai (セル死惹起剤, Cell-Death Provocation Drug) A pale-indigo, gaseous drug that is used to combat High-Speed Regeneration by acting on the fact that it is nearly instantaneous and thereby cannot be stopped at will. Once this drug enters the target's system via the pores, it spreads throughout the body through their veins and lingers until a wound occurs on the target's body. Once the wound occurs, the drug takes effect and, alongside Regeneration, quickly forces the cells at the wound to replicate. However, it does not stop there. The drug will continue to replicate the cells until that population reaches it's Hayflick limit- it's replication limit- and causes cell death, which results in an even larger wound opening just after the initial wound is closed by causing the dead cells to fall away from the body. Thus, the High-Speed Regeneration will continue to act upon the wound and heal it while the gas continues to destroy the cells until the drug reaches it's limit and is rendered ineffective. After this, normal Regeneration is able to take place, but not before the drug has sapped a large portion of the target's Reiryoku and stamina simply from forcing Regeneration to act over and over without periods of rest. At it's highest concentration, the drug can cause a small cut on a target's palm to expand by an inch each time until it gets so wide that their fingers disintegrate during the process, then up to the point that the wound reaches the shoulder before the drug dies out. It is a one time use drug, as the entirety of the amount that enters the body focuses only on one wound. In the case of multiple wounds, it is attracted to the largest one. The drug will work in the same way against other forms of Regeneration, the only difference being that if the target is smart enough, they will stop trying to heal themselves and leave the wound alone, preventing it from working again. However, since the drug's effects are known only to Tsukiko, and that it carries a bit of psychological warfare with it- the sight of seeing a recently healed wound open back up to cause panic- this is unlikely.
Chōjinteki Yaku (超人的薬, Superhuman Drug) Chōjinteki Yaku takes the appearance of a blue liquid; the diluted form is kept in a flattened plastic tube with a plastic syringe on it and the non-diluted form is kept in a compact ball form that is set to detonate when thrown, releasing the gas within. Used to slow down a person's perception of time. It is able to make one second seem like 100 years for the unfortunate victim to whom it is administered. An undiluted dose of the drug causes the senses to speed up trillions of times while the relatively "slow" body fails to keep up, resulting in paralysis; on the other hand, a diluted dose of the drug can greatly enhance the user's reaction speed. A single droplet would have to be diluted 250,000 times to be suitable for use. This formula seeps through the pores of a victim, rather than make it be ingested.
Stat Enhancements: The diluted form of the drug increases Agility - Speed By a factor of 30 points (reaction time) for the time it stays active, which is 4 posts. Taichōjinteki Yaku (対超人的薬, Anti-Superhuman Drug) It takes the form of a white liquid, close to the density of water, that is stored inside a tube with a built in syringe that is also collapsible to reveal the syringe. Taichōjinteki Yaku reverses the effects of the superhuman drug, and is the only known cure for the drug in existence.
Kimijakka-Doku (気味弱化毒, Sensation-dulling Poison) A white-colored poison that induces numbness all over the body, with enough potency to affect an African Elephant in a few minutes. Aside from causing the target to lose sensation in their body, it affects the area of the brain that controls sleeping, introducing abnormal drowsiness to mentally affect the target.
Shimane-Zai (死真似剤, Death Mimicry Drug) A Lilac-colored drug that is used to induce a state of very deep sleep that mimics death so perfectly that even the most experienced doctors would claim the drinker to be dead.
Kurokongōseki-Kessei (黒金剛石血清, Black Diamond Serum) A silver liquid with the consistency of nail polish that, when applied to the nails, it is able to strengthen the carbon within them to the density of steel. The serum has to be derived from the intended user's blood, and is therefore useless on someone else other than the intended user.
Kenbōshō-Zai (健忘症剤, Amnesia Drug) Dark pink drug that induces forgetfulness in the consumer, often leading to them winding up in another part of town, naked and without goal, before someone finds them.
Kaigi-Zai (懐疑剤, Skepticism Drug) Beige colored drug that, once ingested, affects the brain and causes irrational behavior; they refuse to accept facts they were already aware of prior to consuming it, and even when presented with undeniable proof, they continue the trend of disbelief. Often times they will refuse to believe they have supernatural abilities, if present, and run away if presented with a fight, regardless of prior bravery.
Kōfukukan-Zai (幸福感剤, Euphoria Drug) Tan colored drug that, once ingested, affects the brain and caused irrational happiness; they remain undeterred by negative stimuli and can even have their life turned upside down without being affected. Often times the consumer while forget their goals and abandon a fight if the situation presents itself, as they are far too happy to engage in violence. Developed for the 4th Division HealersQuote: Medicine/Healing Drugs
Sakkin-Zai (殺菌剤, Sterilization Medicine) A purple-colored medicine that instantly sterilizes wounds while causing a brief sharp pain. It is also useful for sterilizing medical tools on the battlefield.
Kakusei-Zai (覚醒剤, Awakening Drug) A sickly-green, foul-tasting antidote that has the ability to forcibly rouse the drinker from comas, or forms of unnatural sleep/unconsciousness induced by abilities or drugs. Of course, given it's taste, it has the rather unwanted side effect of causing the person to ingested it to vomit for several seconds.
Ishiki-Zai (意識剤, Consciousness Drug) A yellow-colored liquid that is used to restore consciousness.
Sukui-Zai (救い剤, Relief Medicine) A cherry-colored liquid that, when consumed, the medicine can offer relief from cold and flu symptoms.
Omeisshin-Zai (お目一新剤, Sight-restoration Drug A deep-orange liquid that is administered by an eye dropper and is similar to Hojiku-Zai, but it works on a different level. Seven drops in each affected eye is enough to cure blindness, but the serum itself is very difficult to make.
Kuiyashi-Zai (苦癒し剤, Pain therapy Drug) A rust-colored, oily drug that is mass produced and is either bathed in, or the body part in question is soaked in it. It seeps into the skin and is used to relieve pain associated with swollen joints, existing burns and wounds, as well as the aching of the joint connections to a prosthetic limb or internal machines.
Fuzuitentō-Zai (不随転倒剤, Paralysis-reversing Drug A light red, powdery substance that, after mixed with oil, is then applied to a body part that has been paralyzed or petrified. While it takes several hours for it to work, it can completely cure both of these.
Battle Aids
Nemurikito-Zai (睡眠帰途剤, Sleep-Returning Medicine) A pale-blue drug that, once it enters the body via intramuscular injection or oral ingestion, it begins to take effect to provide the body with the drug-equivalent of a full night's sleep to refresh and revitalize the target.
Enetakameru (エネ高める, Energy Booster) Kept in a metal tube, this is an energy drink- more or less- that is similar to Nemurikito-Zai, but instead it just grants temporary bursts of energy that will cause a crash later. Developed for the 2nd Division InterrogatorsQuote: Oboebairitsu-Zai (覚え倍率剤, Memory-amplification Drug) A caramel-colored drug that is used to give the drinker better access to their memories, specifically those from before they died and were sent to the Soul Society and vice-versa. Due to it being powerful enough to cause a human to remember their possible life as a Shinigami, it has the side effect of causing irreversible brain damage from prolonged exposure and misuse. Because of this, it is highly experimental, and should only be used under the proper guidance of Tsukiko and while the drinker is able to maintain a level head.
Ukasareru (浮かされる, to lapse into delirium) An emerald-green poison that induces fear, delirium, and forces the drinker to relive terrible memories. It is often used by Tsukiko to study patterns of fear in her test subjects.
Jihaku-Zai (自白剤, Truth Serum) Indistinguishable from water, (xxx) is a powerful truth serum that can be slipped into any number of food recipes or beverages without the intended recipient being any the wiser. Three drops is enough to cause the consumer to spill everything they know, generally in the form of an answer. While it does induce mild confusion, it is best that the drinker be tied up if they are considered a flight risk, lest problems ensue from there.
Kikannenshou-Zai (器官燃焼剤, Organ-burning Drug) A light-blue poison that, when ingested, creates the false sensation of the victim's insides burning.
