For now, I will put this here ~tea reviews
Name of Tea: Earl Grey Creme (Teavana) Initial appearance: Loose. Dark dark grey/black tea leaves, all pretty and shriveled. Cornflower petals are spread in the mix. Over all, it's a beautiful effect. Dark amber when brewed. Aroma: The leaves smell strongly of bergamot and vanilla, with a hint of brisk black tea. Brewed, all of the smells combine into something I can't describe but always makes my mouth water. Flavor: When I brew it perfectly, it taste identical to the smell. There's a clear creaminess too it, which negates the potential tartness of bergamot and turns it into something like a sweet mandarin orange with vanilla mixed into black tea. It's NOT citrusy, but if you're very familiar with citrus you can tell that there are roots of it. Overall rating: Five stars.
This is one of my absolute favorite teas. I've been buying less loose tea lately in interest of money. I've also been trying to stick to herbals with honey in interest of lowering my caffeine intake, although that is such a loosing battle it's pathetic. Either way, despite these two things, I always buy Earl Grey Creme when I'm out. It's beautifully delicious and the leaves are so pretty, especially before brewed. I used to very much dislike Earl Greys until I found this, and it's opened me up to a world of them.
Someday, I'd like to buy Winter White Earl Grey from Harney & Sons. I've heard it is similarly spectacular.
