About: The picture is compiled of a girl, the road/background, and her own eyes. The title can be read two ways, both of which relate to the picture. 'you-r road' is that-- 'your road'. This is your path, your journey into the unknown. 'you-r road' can also be read as 'you [a]r[e] [the] road'. This is the meaning behind the pair of eyes. Because while you embark on a physical adventure, the true journey lies within yourself, realising who you are and coming to accept it or change it as is the case. The girl's own eyes look down upon herself on this journey, symbolising that the jounery is inner. And because it is within yourself, only you can embark on this journey. It is solitary. Alone. And the results you get can be unexpected. Unkown from the beginning, perhaps. For the good or worse, or maybe neither. The background ties it all together, the road of journey and the light, the dawning of knowledge.

General Notes: I actually painted this in colour, came back to the guidelines and had to cast it into greyscale. I hope I have fulfilled any other criteria. This took me about 10-15min to paint without the greyscale touch-ups afterwards.
