Poor Mudo, even the Dragonlord and Malroth have their own special non-standard boss fight songs and he's stuck with the standard DQVI boss theme (which is my favourite boss theme in the series by the way) which I always found really weird considering he has his own battle tune, mayhap it was too uppity for to stick in for Mr. Mudo so they went with the standard boss battle which in my opinion fits quite well anyway?

**Mild, not really spoilers: ->> Or maybe they just went with that because it's the tune that plays when you fight Mudo for the first time?

In any case, I can't wait until I get to get slapped around by Deathtamoore in DQIX, I heard they even stuck with tradition and kept his hands as a target-able foe!

I loved how finding his theme on YouTube was a struggle.

Yeah.

I mean, they used Baramos' and Dholmagus' personal themes, so why not this Murdaw theme? I still have yet to play VI, but that sounds like a cool theme.

Personal preference of the developers? Iunno. The fact that the normal boss theme plays first seems like the most logical idea. And the theme 'aint half bad as it is.
