I'm itching to do something new with my hair.... which is anything as I don't really do anything with it now. I have short hair, typically shorter in the back, although right now it's not much shorter in the back. I used to spike it up in the back, but I've kinda grown out of that. I've thought of curling it, but I'm unsure of how good it'd look. Plus, all previous times I've tried curling it, the curls were gone within minutes (maybe I just need to put lots of product in? But then what's good to use?)

Anyways, any suggestions would be appreciated.

And just cause I know it'd help, a picture of me: http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/6198/asashimegumismall8az.jpg

Too bad curling doesn't work, you would look adorable with little ringlets sad

I suggest doing a side-part and hair-clipping the front off to the side...can you curl the ends under a little or something? Or, if it only stays straight you can use larger, more ornate hair clips and bows.

Thanks ^^ Actually, I had my hair curled for my wedding yesterday, even though I told her they usually didn't hold well. But she sprayed something into it before curling it, and it held ALL DAY! It was even curly in the morning (a little anyways). It wasn't hairspray, cause it was soft and brushable, but it was so cool and absolutly adorable ^^ I'm gonna go back there on monday and buy a bottle of whatever it was that she used.

Yeah, I would have suggested ringlets. Short hair in ringlets and with short bangs, I think, is really really cute. ^_^

So hopefully you can get that product to work on your own! I know stylists always have technique in putting it in. I usually can't get some products to do the same things to my hair that my stylist gets it to do when she's fixing it. Sucks, but oh well. xD

And that was for your wedding? Congradulations~! heart

I would suggest asking her to tell you how to do it again...because if she wants to you to continue to get the product from her it has to work for you. I'm so glad for ringlets, yay! -^_^-

pretty jewelled hairclips work well on short hair. you can also wear minicrowns and headdresses just like any other loli ^_^

I have really short hair. I give myself a side parting and then straighten it and style it as they do in anime - bangs, and a long bit over each ear.

An example of this can be seen on the girl on the right here : http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c333/jasta_garsu/241qa.jpg
